i got caught out with this in April. sent rebate form back after 30 days have waited till now. called them and they have now said that my rebate is in its final stage and i will be receiving my rebate in the next 5-10 working days!
Not going to jump for joy until i actually see it in my account but fingers crossed!
Just to update people... i called them on Monday (as above) on Tuesday, the money was back into my account!! so all i could say is definitely call them! as it cant be a coincidence that it got refunded a day after i called about it 6 months later!!! its a 0800 number, so just call them!

Hi, I had a gut feeling this was a scam so searched online, and came across you lot, I've just ordered and i'm now panicking as to how to stop this from proceeding any further, I read in the terms and conditions that if I sent an email to them saying ''cancelattion'' it will stop any transactions, is this true? I'm with HSBC and thankfully I've only got £10 in my account as I've transferred the rest of my money into my savings account. Any advice would be great! Should I email them?
Thankyou in advance

i would defiantly send them an email and cancel. well done for only having a tenner in your account BUT if they cant take it out now it doesn't necessary mean they wont try again! so might be worth calling your bank and asking if they have tried to take out a large sum of money, if yes you can then ask them to stop any further payments from them. you can only ask this if they have taken or tried tracking money from your account as they need to know what account to block.0

Hi, I'm another victim who wishes I'd read this earlier. When my money went out of my account I contacted my bank and asked them to block future payments to this company. I was told the bank couldn't do that. However, I have a letter from my bank stating that any future payments will be credited back to me from my bank. At the present time my bank has compensated me for 2 payments of £95 and 1 payment of £89 due to me being a loyal customer.
I sent a letter and an email to the company telling them to cancel the order and not to send me any more of the pills. I havent been able to contact them by phone. I've had no reply and last week received another pack of the diet pills. I was very upset and annoyed and sent them back without opening the package. I wrote return to sender and on the back not to send me any more. I don't know what to do if future packs arrive. My bank is replacing the money so I am assuming they will be dealing with the company but not certain for how long. I quoted the FCA 2013 which states that banks must cancel the cotinuous payment when asked. My bank has been fair to me. I'm very upset and can't see an end to this nightmare. How can I get the company to cancel everything and to leave me alone? Should I leave it up to my bank? What should I do if more packs of pills arrive?
Thanks for your help0 -

In particular, this sentence from that document:Customers can generally cancel a CPA with the merchant as well as with their bank, although they are still responsible for any money they owe.0 -

Thanks for your replies. I keep attempting to cancel the ketone pills but am being ignored. I have sent letters to two different addresses, sent emails to two different emails and each time I ring 0800 404 6960 after 5min on hold I am told to leave a message and phone number and they will get back to me, which of course they don't. My bank has been replacing the money. £99.95 went out on the 10th October and hasn't been replaced. I will be ringing the manager of card operations tomorrow, she isn't in the office at the present time. Thanks for the FCA press release, I will quote it to the manager. I can't believe that the bank are still allowing the Ketone company to continue accessing my account. I'm finding it very frightening, that despite, letters, emails, telephone calls to cancel and involving my bank. This company is ignoring my request and that bank is allowing them to take money. I don't know what else to do. I appreciate all the help and support on this site. Thank you. I'll let you know how my coverstion with my bank goes and in the meantime I'll continue ringing the USA company.0

Unfortunately I've fallen for this scam. Paid for the postage for the products raspberry katone and cleanse extreme but wasn't aware of the subscription that followed. One payment of £89 and another of £93 came out. I've contacted the bank and cancelled any further payment due to come out. I can't for the life of me remember what company I orderd these products from, I can't find any emails or order id to try and ring for a refund. Does anyone know the company? It was via a link off facebook.0

This is a scam I've been done, they took £89.00 from me, I saw it on my bank statement online, I contacted my bank then, they said it was in pending and would put a block on it for me, i checked online and i rang every day to check, it stayed in pending for 5 days and then puff disappeared. I have wasted a fortune in phone calls, because i have no landline and no computer.
I am between jobs, recently qualified as a Teaching Assistant, there4 this took all my money, I'm so annoyed, but feel so stupid at the same time.:embarasse:sad:
I am at a Crossroads in my life and deciding which path to take:coffee:
