Might not be claimed, it's common to see this type pf authorisation.
Thank you for this 'Wealdroam.' I have spoke with the company multiple times and they have reassured me everytime that they are a legit company. However, I just don't believe them. If it was legit, then it would be clear from the start what the whole purchase involved before you actually purchased the item. Plus the confirmation email we received, you would have thought would confirm an amount taken, yet it doesn't. It states no amount whatsoever, just an order number, which seems dodgy.
They have also reassured me that this is just a one time offer and no other amount will be taken from my account going forward - which doesn't make sense when others are having money taken out each month.
I did sign up for a 90 day trial and there is nothing about a 90 day trial on the T&C apart from the one sentence you have highlighted above - which again seems dodgy.
I am in the process of sorting it out and getting a full refund apart from the £4.95 I did agree and the £7 I've had to pay to send it back next day recorded delivery. Other than that, she's said I can have a full refund including the £10 restocking fee she said she would waver. So hopefully I will get a full refund and learn from my mistakes. But I am still in the frame of mind where money was taken from my account which I didn't agree, as I'm sure everyone else is also.
The 1.99 is a shipping fee, which was taken from my account but they have refunded it me already.0 -

The US consumer protection rights/laws/regulations are not as comprehensive as in the UK.
Maybe US regulations don't insist that things be as clear as they are over here. They have also reassured me that this is just a one time offer and no other amount will be taken from my account going forward - which doesn't make sense when others are having money taken out each month.
As I said before, I believe you are wrong to assume that most people have selected the 90-day offer rather than the free trial offer.
Neither you or I can possibly know that.I did sign up for a 90 day trial and there is nothing about a 90 day trial on the T&C apart from the one sentence you have highlighted above - which again seems dodgy.
From what I have read from the links you have provided, you signed up for a one-off purchase of 90-day's supply of tablets.
No trial involved... it was an outright purchase you have made.I am in the process of sorting it out and getting a full refund apart from the £4.95 I did agree and the £7 I've had to pay to send it back next day recorded delivery. Other than that, she's said I can have a full refund including the £10 restocking fee she said she would waver. As I said earlier, US customs may differ from ours and it may not have been as clear as you would've liked, but it does seem from the image you showed us that you should've expected £153.95 to be taken from your card and £149.00 to be refunded when you later claimed your rebate.
The yellow banner line on that image says "90 day supply price after rebate: £4.95".
Note the words "after rebate".
See here:The 1.99 is a shipping fee, which was taken from my account but they have refunded it me already.
It doesn't really matter either way if you are not paying it though.0 -
I too have fallen for this i didnt realise until i looked on the internet and saw all these posts after i had submitted my details nowhere did it give me an option to look at the t&c's or tick a box like you normally do i immediately went to my bank who confirmed i had two payments pending one for £153.95 and £1.99 from two different companies Healthizon and Wholenutra unfortunately they couldnt do anything until the payment had cleared but assured me they had blocked any future payments and to call them when payment had cleared apparently they have had quite a few of these come up surprise! tried the 0800 404 6960 number several times couldnt get through until this evening where i got through within a couple of minutes spoke to someone called Chris i explained the situation he said i could send the pills back and get a full refund he gave me a number told me address to send them back was on the box i asked about the subscription he assured me it had been cancelled he did say to go on the website raspberry ketone fresh/uk website and get rebate form cant find website so will just send pills back with number and make sure address is right one also rang my bank who have started a dispute with company im not taking any chances just want my money back my advice is to ring the number at night seem to get through easily and dont use the email address as it just comes back that they dont use email !!0

I fell for this approx 1 month ago through an advert on Facebook. I was, and still am, angry with myself for falling for it! I agreed to £3.48 shipping, but 3 days after the raspberry ketones arrived £94.97 was taken from my account. I phoned the company, who first refused to discuss it as it had been longer than 14 days, however when I made it quite clear I wasn't going to give up they offered me 50% of my money back as a "good will gesture". I told them to give me a return address, and that when they received the item back I would expect the full £94.97 to be returned to my account. The guy was very rude and stubborn....but then so was I! I returned the item to them on Saturday, and the full £94.97 was back in my account yesterday. I think the key is to show them that you are not willing to negotiate and stick to your guns. Good luck to anyone trying to retrieve their money, I hope you manage it. I definitely won't be falling for anything like this again!!0

Ok so for people who have received refunds what details did you give to them for them to issue the refund back to you as when I paid I gave them my 16 digit card number and then I phoned the bank to cancel my card so they couldn't take anymore money from it???0

Did that actually work?
My understanding is that both Visa and Mastercard (and maybe others?) will somehow process the old card details to the underlying account.
In other words, cancelling a card does not stop a payment being taken.0 -
I'm not sure yet I am due to phone the bank back when it shows on my statement. I will also ask them to stop further payments having read the comments on the forum.
I just don't know how people are receiving the money back, do they give them their bank account number in order for them to refund as obviously having taken £150+ already I wouldn't like further money being taken and do not trust to give my account number out to a dodgy site again. Dont want to make a stupid mistake twice. Definitely learnt lesson to read t &c 's first now -_-0 -
Scam victim: I didn't cancel the card I paid with so the money was returned to the same account I paid with. When I realised they had taken the money, I phoned barclaycard to tell them what had happened and they said that they couldn't refund the money but they could ensure that no further transactions were authorised. I'm sorry, but I don't know where you stand having cancelled the card but I really hope you get your money back0

Been seeing the adverts in my facebook news feed for weeks & how all these celebs thought the Ketone diet was amazing. Being a cancer patient that's been on steroids as part of my treatment and so gained lots weight and desperate to get rid of excess pounds I thought oh well its only £4.95 for 14 days supply I will order them & see. I honestly thought because it was a reputable womans mag supposedly promoting these raspberry ketones through facebook it was all safe. So here I am 2 weeks later with nothing to show for it & wondering what the hell did I do wrong & minus £194...gutted is an understatement0

If something seems too be good to be true, then it probably is!0
