Yes 'meer53' it does mention a subscription, but only for a 10 day trial or a 14 day trial. I agreed to a 90 day trial, can you please highlight the section which says I have agreed to a monthly subscription for a 90 day trial??
As you must have missed from my last post, the t&c do say to stop monthly payments being taken from your account you need to phone up and cancel, which everyone on here seems to be doing yet they are STILL having monthly payments taken.
He did ask me to post a link but unfortunately this forum does not allow links to be posted for scamming purposes (how 'ironic')
Yes we do only have ourselves to blame, and we like to come on these forums to compare bad experiences and give advice like I've already said, not to be patronised and told we're not doing things right by people who haven't even been victim to this scam themselves so have no idea what they're actually talking about.
It doesn't mention a 90 day trial in the t & c's you have posted, why do you say you signed up for this ? Where does it mention a 90 day trial ?
If you ordered under Section 9 of the t & c's, as per your post, it states that you will receive further deliveries every 30 days. ie a subscription.
I have a huge amount of experience in dealing with these companies, i do know what i'm talking about. No one is "patronising" anyone.
All that is needed once you have contacted the company concerned, is to contact your card issuer. They will refund any further payments should they debit your account. If you read this thread, this advice is given, more than once.0 -
You could camouflage the link.
Posting something like www . moneysavingexpert . com and asking people to remove the blanks would do it.
I tried this but it didn't work. I'll try again.
So this is the advert that I originally saw...
www . topresultsdefined . com / ML-UK/
I then clicked on the link at the bottom of this ad, taking me to this page....
www. raspberryketonefresh . com/uk/ss/2/index2.php?r=1&AFFID=370007&C1=145205271&__qca=P0-661909260-1393516415584
I put in my details, clicked 'order today' and as you can see ticked no box to agree to any T&C! It then took me to this page...
www . scambook . com/file/proof/Raspberry-Ketone-Fresh-Complaint-Image-9b5d6721011710a782f109f0b83c6b8e.jpg
I put in my card details and clicked 'order today' accepting no T&C!! That's the process I did and probably what most did.
The T&C's page...

Hope this works so you can actually see for yourself.0 -

When clicking on ANY website to buy something, you are ALWAYS agreeing to t & c's. It's advisable to always check these before giving your card details to pay for anything.
Another bit of advice, if you see any webpage that has "scambook" in the address, best to close it down and find somewhere else to buy your stuff.0 -

Absolutely not, that is not true at all!! Otherwise it would state that also in the T&C. Usually there is a box to tick to agree any T&C. So that's a load of ********.
The 'scambook' link abouve is an image I took from google to show you what the webpage looked like. This wasn't the actual website...obviously! If you'd have noticed, it is an image on google the link takes you to above!0 -

It is true. When you buy goods or services, you are entering into a legally binding contract with that retailer.
If you don't check the t & c's or there aren't any shown, then you really shouldn't be giving anyone access to your bank account.
With all due respect, the load of ******** is all yours. If you've read the whole thread, you will realise this.0 -
Mel25h, thanks for those links.
I am beginning to understand your situation.I 100% did not sign up to a monthly prescription and it does not say that in the T&C for the 90 day trial that most people agreed to. It states in the T&C, purchase terms for a 10 day and 14 day trial, but nothing for the 90 day trial.
However, that isn't important... it's what you have agreed to that is important.
You have signed up for a 90 day offer and the only reference to that that I can find is:Use our special promo link and get a 90 day supply free by rebate to try.
It appears in this case that the rebate is actually the full purchase price.
Thus you should've expected to have to pay the full purchase price before receiving the product, and after receipt you then jump through a few hoops and they refund that purchase price.
By looking at the image you have supplied, this is made clear.
If we can assume the prices on that image were what you saw when ordering, then you are expected to pay up front an amount of £153.95, being £149.00 purchase price plus £7.95 p&p and with a discount of £3.00.
You mention £153.95 in your original post:...I contacted my bank last night and they said I said 2 payments pending, one at 1.99 and the other at 153.95, I was gutted!
To summarise, I would respectfully suggest that you did agree to pay £153.95 up front, and £149.00 would be refunded to you when you claimed it back.
I do not know how you claim that rebate, perhaps details are in the package you will receive.0 -

I would suggest that 'most people' actually did sign up for the 10 or 14 day free trial, but of course I have no way of knowing that.

My understanding of rebate schemes is that you pay for the product up front and by returning a voucher or something you get a rebate.

I cannot work out where that £1.99 comes from though.

The 1.99 pending payment may just have been a dummy authorisation where they were checking the card was live. A bit like the authorisations made when using pay at pump petrol stations.
I still think it's a case of not understanding what was being agreed to.0 -
