In:- 7 x chicken breasts, pks of 8 were on offer at Lidl so bought a pk. The breasts were so big that stuffed with a bit of apricot stuffing and wrapped in bacon, one was enough for the two of us.
4 loaves of bread.
Out:- Ice cream plus the rest of the pk of sour cherries, cooked with a little brandy and sugar did a very nice pud for DH. I can't imbibe at the moment due to some tablets so just had some ice-cream0 -
I'm always amazed at the chicken breasts at L1dl when they are on offer. They are huge! That's why i like poaching and freezing them. Just took out the last 2 from the previous batch poaching.
Out: 2 poached chicken breasts. Tin sardines, some potatoes from shed, to make fishcakes with. Yesterday a tin of chickpeas, garam masala and butternut and honeyboat squash (from shed) as a side with lamb barley from freezer. That lamb is proving to be a real winner, will definately make it again.
