@zafiro1984 I wouldn't have thought you'd need to freeze the puddings.
I don't know why but I've always frozen them, I have a Christmas drawer in the freezer so they end up in there

DH wanted me to make some carrot cake so as I had some carrots in the fridge I'm currently cooking one in a loaf tin so that it can easily be sliced.  Uses up lots of bits from the cupboard, including the last of the sultanas!

In: 7 x 2 portions Christmas puddings - more to follow
Out:- 4 x sausages wrapped in bacon, 4 slices bread (geese) 6 x southern fried drumsticks.
  • I buy food in large packages that does not spoil, and the rest of the time I just buy a little more. I also noticed such an interesting thing that you need to buy food as you are hungry. If I buy a lot at once, then I either forget about them or change my mind about eating them, and every time I make a list for myself what I will eat now and not to pass it on.

New freezer labels have arrived, just hope they will stick to the plastic freezer containers I have.  I'm fed up with finding labels at the bottom of the freezer not attached to anything. I've tried writing on the actual box but that doesn't seem to work either.

@zafiro1984 - I buy my labels from L*keland; they're not the cheapest but they do stick well to plastic boxes.  I've only ever had a couple come off in the last 3 or 4 years I've been using them.  I'm not close to a shop so generally buy a few boxes at a time. I buy the ones which pull out from a roll.

I just use masking tape and write on it with a Sharpie - cheap as chips!
