Out: frozen sweetcorn, flour etc for sweetcorn loaf.
    In: hm sweetcorn loaf (sliced)
I've used the last of the baking powder with plain flour instead of self-raising flour and worked a treat. Won't bother buying selfraising flour now, just get more baking powder.

I disappeared for a bit but I'm back on track again.

I'm going to try and make everything go further, stretch things more, waste nothing and keep shopping to a minimum - that's shopping in all its forms.
We have been renovating/updating our house since we moved here in 2006, it's been quite a large project (house plus quite a lot of acreage) but I can see just another two years to the finish line.
So it's time to draw in the horns, focus on what is needed and try to finish the job.

Out:- 3 pieces breast of lamb, some left over lamb roast, ice cream
    Todays meals are
L -tin of soup for me, a few biscuits, DH egg on toast, a few biscuits
D - a sort of soup x casserole based on lamb (like a thick scotch broth) with a few dumplings to fill DH as he has empty legs - done in the slow cooker. Jelly and ice-cream

Nothing has been added to my new shopping list  :)

Oops - almost forgot, found a pk of chicken livers in the freezer so made pate as I had everything else, enough for a couple of days and now in fridge setting.
