In:- some HM ice-cream, I found 2 tins of condensed milk in the cupboard so bought some cream to make icecream, salted caramel flavour.
Out:- rolled shoulder of mutton, cooked in the slow cooker and finished off in the oven - hot yesterday, cold to-day then it's sandwiches etc.
I've some pork mince in the fridge which needs using so I'll probably make scotch eggs to have at lunchtime, I'll probably get four out of the mince and they're much nicer than bought ones.

Out:  pork cubes for sweet & sour tomorrow night; smoked salmon for lunch tomorrow

Do you make your own sweet and sour sauce? I’d love this as a fake away for a Friday!
Yes I do.  It's a SlimmingEats recipe I use although I substitute the tin of crushed tomatoes with a couple of squirts of tomato puree and some stock.
I made this friday and loved it! Thanks so much!

Does anyone have an easy pickled cucumber recipe that would last a bit in the fridge? I got gifted some english cucumber and would like to make a small jar of pickled cucumber to gift back. My ridged cucumber coming along nicely, so would like to pickle some of that too as gifts.
