Ooh, pamsdish faggots are fantastic! - I often bake a batch for my mom, especially in the colder weather. When you make yours do you use cawl or stretched out streaky bacon? I've used both but would love to know how others do it. Whichever way though, there's no skimping on the onion gravy!Attempting £40 grocery only for the month of October.

Hello, wasn't meant to have any 'ins' today, but Mr M's YS was just too good! (I have regular all/half day hospital appointments so these will be really handy for lunches/snacks)
IN: 7 x wild rice and chicken snack pots (I have frozen these on previous occasions) - were £1.50 down to 8p each, 1 x onion bahjee with chutney snack pot - was £1 down to 5p, and 4 x mozzarella, chorizo and pesto rolls - were £2.30 each but YS at 12p.
OUT: 3 slices of bread.
USED UP: last portion of cottage pie.
Cheers, LizzieAttempting £40 grocery only for the month of October.

Just some of the fridge soup for us yesterday as DH had lunch at work and I had not done enough exercise to warrant a big meal. Snuck in a dessert plate of salad to go with it though, using some of the large quantity of potato salad I made to use some homegrown potatoes - and the soup included half a tin of tomato puree that was lurking in the fridge.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)

I put 6 homeade pulled chicken burritos into my freezer. Great for lunches. (I made 8 of them, could have made more, but the wraps only came in a packet of 8)0
