  • Birds Eye Inspirations fish out for lunch today, last portion. 2 x small lamb chops + various roasties and veg all from freezer for dinner. Had veg curry/soup effort last night and there is a small tub which I will get out for lunch tomorrow. Have to start making some chicken meals to use portions and something with chicken chunks, trouble is that usually makes about 4 meals.

  • Iceland del yesterday so fish fingers and 3 pkts of fish into freezer, pasta and sauces into cupboard, 3 k of onions, plan to chop and cook and then freeze in manageable portions. 1 k done this a.m. (5 mins then 10 mins in micro with salt and O.oil, now in SC on high for a couple of hours or so. Will pack into baggies and lay out flat so when I want an onion I can just break a bit off. Thats the plan. I do actually like onions, especially when I have a cold, cheese and onion sarnie seems to help clear the throat and nose.

Added today was 3 packs of bacon, cheese and corned beef - a gift from my Dad as he's not supposed to be eating them.
There's been a good few things out over the last few days but the resulting spaces will get plugged tomorrow when I stock up in readiness for house guests, though I'm hoping most that will get get used over the next few days.
Finally used up a savoy cabbage and ice berg lettuce that seemed to be everlasting and had to ditch some grapes, a lemon and smidge of greek yoghurt. Discovered garden rice really like LO pilau rice:rotfl::rotfl:
