Thanks for the welcome :) brill idea about making a list. Will do that over the next couple of days.

Last night we did take out some tortellini pasta and some frozen sliced onion i had done and also some tomato puree. Theres still lots of room needs making though so the inventory will help me see what meals to make, as you said.
Keeping an inventory saves me a fortune You can see meal ideas jumping off the page at you. It also stops me buying what I don't need, well in theory as I have a mountain of sausages in there at the minute :rotfl:

Speaking of which I am taking 11 sausages out today to make a sausage casserole and a spare portion for me to take to work for lunch on Saturday. I'm working on the sausage problem :D

out - yesterday was fish fingers, bought wedges to go with them so that went in.

Also got 3 x innocent veg pots for 50p each! So 1 for dinner tonight, 1 for lunch while I'm at work tomorrow and OH can have one.

Tempted by the dine in for £10 offer at Marks.... might pop there after work, but we've got so much food in I do think we don't really need it... we shall see.

Forgot to mention, there are a number of good websites that can suggest recipe ideas based on certain ingredients, if you have a surplus of something you want to use up and don't know what to do with, such as
    http://www.supercook.com/
    http://myfridgefood.com/
    http://www.gomakeamealofit.com/
    or just ask here:):)
