In to freezer - HM apple pie + HM steak casserole.
Out of freezer - HM shepherd's pie.
I made a huge pot of steak casserole today. Also made an apple pie to fill oven and because cooking apples - free - were crying out to be used up.
Dinner was steak casserole + jacket potato + mushy peas - yummy. There are 4 days dinners left to go in the freezer. The apple pie will feed us for 6 days.

We had smoked cod with rarebit sauce from the freezer (YS £1.62 :-D) along with steamed new potatoes and kale in cheese sauce
Also finally used a cranberry and orange cupcake kit from last Xmas! Though are nice, was a bit of a joke as still had to add butter, oranges and eggs!I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

In. 8 venison steaks, milk and HM rhubarb crumble.
Out. Two swordfish steak.
Freezer is looking sparse. Hope to be bulk buying fish and venison in the new year.'If you are not in the 'arena' also getting your a55 kicked then, I'm not interested in your feedback.' Thank you.0 -
Out yesterday was a chicken to make a dinner. Today I am taking out 8 sausages to make TITH.
In on Friday went home made quiche and pizza bases. Nothing since but I am deciding whether to freeze a left over chicken dinner from yesterday or if I should just eat it for lunch.
I hope your back is better today Flo x£36/£240

Ah I've read it now, my pc is too slow, I don't think it would be worth my time in even trying! I'm doing a lot of the other comps though
I won't be completing the freezer/cupboard challenge by the end of the year now, due to a temporary (hopefully) massively restricted range of foods I can eat, I actually can't eat a lot of the things in the fridge. Will still be working my way through some of the older grains in the cupboard though as they are ok to eat (lucky me..). I finished off a jar of quinoa last year, 1 more to go of that. Still don't like it but am mixing it in with other grains - had it with Israeli (giant) couscous last night, plain steamed salad potatoes, basil tofu and opened a new pot of tahini. Bit of a beigey/grey looking meal! Oh forgot I did add a pile of watercress.0
