  • Got treated to lunch out so all that has come out of the freezer today is a loaf of home-baked bread. Kitchen table is full of DD's current craft projects, v. Messy! So until it is cleared, cant empty and make freezer inventory.

    No freezer movements.
Still in pain with back - off to see Doctor tomorrow.
We had black pudding + HM wedges + mushrooms + poached eggs for dinner.

I hope the doctor helps to sort your back out Flo x

Out today came a home made pizza base and a garlic bread. A lifesaver after a 12 hr shift or I would have caved in and bought takeaway :o

Nothing in, I have a day off tomorrow so I will be baking a few things for the freezer.

  • Nothing out of freezer today, but things gone in:

    V. Large beef joint cut in two as will be cooked in two different ways. Also about 800g of mild cheddar has gone in. I sliced it first then can take out just as many slices as i want at a time. If i leave it in a block, its too much to defrost and use up all in a matter of days. Aldo, the adult kids would just eat chunks of it, with or without a bread accompaniment if i just leave it in fridge as is.

Still cant do a list of freezer contents but DD has assured me the kitchen table will be emptied of all her craft stuff by tomorrow night. I doubt this v. much, but we shall see.

I am itching to get sorted and make room for the desserts and canap! type things i want to make!

    In to freezer - nothing.
Out of freezer - 2 muffins.
Been to Doctors - tablets for my back - hope they soon work. Re weight loss - lost some more - going for another blood test tomorrow.
Dinner was HM TITH + roast potatoes/parsnip + sprouts + carrots + swede + gravy.

I grate big blocks of ys cheese and freeze them. It saves a lot of time at meal times just to be able to grab a slice or a handful of already grated.

First things out today are 4 sausages and 2 pitta breads for sausage sarnies with brown sauce

We used some Mexican bean burgers last night - please to see they are vegan so will get some in for January.

Today it's l/o curry - we buy the box meal for 2 which actually lasts us 2 dinners. so easy day for cooking.
  • Lucky for me, got treated to lunch again today. A roast turkey dinner and a scrummy meringue, strawberry and cream dessert :j
