  • Out today are some muscles to do a creamy pasta sauce with. Need to come up with ideas that take out big things as little packets of muscles etc are not freeing up much space

Didn't use the quorn in the end, but took out a garlic bread and pizza so quorn will be used today I think!
  • I could do with getting a shifty on with emptying our smallish chest freezer. Usually at this time of year i have started making snacks and nibbles for christmas and freezing them in advance, this year i haven't even started and its because there is no freezer space! Must start decluttering it. So far today, i have taken out a large french baguette and put nothing in. Well, its a start.

Welcome:wave: Have you made a list of what's in the freezer? That way, you won't buy anything you've already got, and it may suggest some menu ideas using up freezer stuff.

Out for dinner tonight came a 500g packet of mince to make a chilli. Nothing in.

It was too hot when I took the photo.

    In to freezer - nothing.
Out of freezer - HM bread + HM salmon fishcakes.
    Had one of those days.
Carpet fitter came earlier than booked. Then I had to empty out the bottom of a fitted cupboard/wardrobe - which was heaving! After carpet was fitted - we have no bedroom door - needs to be trimmed. Plus have no door on the fitted cupboard/wardrobe!
Thought I may as well empty the top of the cupboard and have a good sort out. What a job! Got two big bags ready for the charity shop. Still not finished sorting out but bedroom fine to sleep in.
Change of menu was called for - had nearly same as yesterday - swapped baked beans for black pudding. Was so hungry after all the exertion - didn't matter that it was almost a duplicate meal.
We had HM wedges + black pudding + toasted HM linseed bread + mushrooms + poached egg.

Thanks for the welcome :) brill idea about making a list. Will do that over the next couple of days.

Last night we did take out some tortellini pasta and some frozen sliced onion i had done and also some tomato puree. Theres still lots of room needs making though so the inventory will help me see what meals to make, as you said.
