I only tend to shop once a week as we live quite away from the shops. I'm now going to stretch from 7 days to eight days,
I find it's no use my saying I'll just live out of the freezers etc as I seem to want some form of cleaning or bathroom products most weeks and the temptation of buying food is too great to ignore, or maybe I just have no self control. The next shop should be Tuesday 22nd. I'll see how it goes. I think it's all about finding what works for you..... I'm still searching for that light bulb moment!!!

I changed to this system last year and it worked really well and I did save a bit of money over the year so am continuing it this year.

OUT yesterday fish portion, today 1/2 shoulder of lamb for tomorrow, portion of pork hock stew spotted the other day for tonights meal.
IN 2 half price ribeye steaks from Aldi.

Intend to do a full audit of freezers whilst getting lamb etc out, just to make sure spread sheet correct.

Did some cupboard tidying yesterday whilst putting some flour away, thrown out 4/5 packs of Udon noodles, bought very cheap some YEARS ago, don`t like the taste so I think gone off, and don`t eat them any more,so what was a bargain has become an expense.
Do I need it or just want it.
