I must make some cake today, especially if the weather is rainy so I don't feel guilty about not being outside.

I'm not that brave to do an inventory, I just like the odd surprise, sometimes good sometimes not so.

Today there is nothing in and nothing out, everything is either a leftover or never made it as far as the freezer, so today everything is coming out of the fridge. Just made some meringues, well they are drying out at the moment but should be ready for pudding with berries and cream at around 8pm. :)

I made a big load of cheese sauce today as we had lots of milk on its use by date (not that i worry about those but I can't bear it when it starts to smell a bit off). Some went on cauliflower and broccoli for lunch and a whole load more in the freezer. The freezer is full, full, full now.

I had curried parsnip and apple soup that i made earlier in the week for my tea with some bread and the last of the cream cheese. Quite a few leftovers in the fridge from my cooking over the last week while hubby has been away so I'm glad he's back tomorrow to help eat it all up!
  • Well! Baking supplies have taken a hit! DS's birthday and party tomorrow! Also used up a sad, old sweet potato for tea today. Freezer is still painfully full, even if it is of free stuff!

I've been AWOL for a bit so I've lost track but I do a portion of mince came out last night which was used for shepherd pie which didn't actually taste that great due to the Asda mixed herbs I put in it - yuk! I had forgotten that I had used them before & hadn't liked them - too much thyme I think. I have now binned them!
