Think she means the freezer is being defrosted as fast as possible (probably iced up) rather than the contents

Ahhhh I see, thank you, was thinking I had been given the wrong advice and since is something I seem to do quite often, lol old age, wanted to be sure.

Bit puzzled as to why you are defrosting everything before putting it back? When this happened to me I was advised to use up anything that had defrosted, anything that was only partially defrosted was left in.

Sorry Meg, Suffolk Lass was right, but I obviously didn't make myself clear in my panic. 'Old age' lol, I think I'm ahead of most of you :)

Out of cupboard - one tin of tuna (although I now have one very happy cat trying to get into the cupboard)

Another one here eating out of the freezer this month! I am only buying fresh fruit veg and milk for the month. I honestly think I could feed us for at least two months so it will be interesting!

2 hefty portions of chilli gone from the freezer, plus last bit of normal long grain rice and 1 packet micro rice, followed by YS Christmas pud and cream I bought a few days ago.
I used to 'shop' pretty often from what we had in, but got rather lazy this year, so it's nice to start getting back to it all!

    A xo

From the cupboard, a tin of corned beef, spuds mashed enough for today and tomorrow. Made a corned beef hash.

From the freezer an RTC chicken breast meal to defrost for tomorrow to go with the mash and veggies.
  • I have taken out for tomorrow
    1 portion of stuffed turkey
    2 bags sprouts
    2 bags carrots
2 stuffing balls made with chestnuts
    1 yorkshire pud
    1 fondant fancy
    1 mince pie
    3 roast potatoes

I used my left over carrots, parsnips, celery and leeks to roast for my home made gravy.
