In to freezer - HM pie + cold meat bits.
Out of freezer - HM Fruit Crumble.
Mr F came home with some cold meat bits so I made a pie.
For dinner we had HM Allsorts Pie + HM wedges + mushy peas for dinner. Loads LO.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Very nice looking pie, Flo! (pref without the ham).
MNR - I'm on choc withdrawal - I've run out, decided to try at least not buying it for the rest of March.. not sure it's allowed that I was snacking on jam & toast last night?!
Freezer wise, I'm on an eat it or bin it routine, either I have it for dinner or if it's really rank I'll bin it out of the freezer rather than having it hanging around. Nothing at all is going in the freezer. This is the only way I'll empty it. Half empty alreadyNot too worried about binning anything in there as it was only HG stuff anyway that is way too old, nothing was bought.
As I'm not buying any main meal stuff in I'm down to the dregs and there's nothing much left that is easy/quick to eat... not a lot of choice left either of what I can make from what I have, meal choice is more down to vegan pizza (base to be HM, frozen HG HM basil pesto, any veg box veg), soup (HM HG frozen), tagine (dried pulses, veg box veg), stir fry (veg box veg or frozen HG beans, fresh tofu) or beanburgers (HG bean supply, either frozen or dried) - but all to be made from scratch... I have replaced the (now brown) rice and split peas and have enough other dry wholefoods/pulses etc to add to meals.
I'm sure other people would look in my kitchen and say 'you have no food in'!0 -

Went digging through the fridge this morning trying to decide what to have for tea and realised that I needed to thow away a couple if packs of purple spouting broccoli and a bag of choped carrots - all yellow stickers so no more than 50p but I'm still annoyed.

I cooked it for about 20 mins, double what I cook white rice for, seemed ok but must admit I prefer the speed/taste of the white rice! Was trying to be healthy by going back to brown and it actually tasted quite nice and fairly filling.
There's a nice Delia recipe with brown rice, a white/cheese type sauce and broccoli/cauli.0 -
Unfortunately they were too far gone to even go in a stew. Think I'm going to be very unhealthy and do egg chips and nuggets (nuggets were yellow sticker)House purchased November 2013

No freezer movements.
Slight change of menu - Mr F fetched home some mega cheap mushrooms that needed to be used. So we had HM wedges + LO PIB + mushrooms + fried egg for dinner.
