    In a word "Yes." :)

Just select the "Online Fixed Price Energy March 2015" tariff.
    Simples.

Yep, thats how I did it.

The procedure shows what tariff you are on and has a drop-down box to select the new tariff.

In my case there was only three available, so I picked the top one. (the cheapest)

Looking at all their tariffs it looks like the March 2015 v2 one has gone.

    Log-in on Scottish Power website.

Go to "My Account" if not already there.

Below "Recommended for you", there is a tile "FIXED PRICE ENERGY MAR 2015"

Click on the orange button "Fix your energy prices".

There are only three tariffs to choose from:

    March 2015 * this is it *
    December 2014
    January 2017
    Other

Thanks. Just wanted to check others thought that was the right one. I know they had another March 2015 deal on there before, but think that had v2 in the title.

I see from the list of tariffs that the March 2015 v2 has been moved to 'previous deals', so I guess the one you mention above should be the new deal.

Do not trust their online prices, I have just gotten off the phone to SP after arranging a call back and after an unbelievable ordeal in trying to secure the prices quoted by the comparison sites.

You know "Hold on a minute whilst i ask my colleague" <phone dead three mins>(NO WONDER NO ONE CAN THROUGH, they only have a few options to offer, they must know the Bloo*dy prices by now what with thousands of calls for either apples, pears or banannas !.)

Comes back to the phone, completely wrong prices. "Hold on a minute i'll ask a colleague" . After half a dozen itterations of this and that and phone going blank yet again...........Oh I think i've found it we can do that for you but it will take four weeks to get it on the system.

Get a grip SP you are one of the big 6 not "fillit and flogit"

Lets see what happens next; but folks beware U gotta bolt em down!!

Don't like the sound of it but it doesn't surprise me. Been looking at comment after comment on Facebook how bad the customer service is.
Don't like that existing customers have to wait 5 days for a call back but new customers can get one booked for next day at any time slot.
I actually booked one for this evening as a new customer just to get to speak to someone. Unfortunately they rang this morning when I was out!

I would think about leaving them but that probably wouldn't work either.

I have gone for the March 2015 deal through the my account option online. Was hoping it was an automated switch but no, it says they have received my request and an adviser will contact me within 5 days.....

Will let you know how I get on.

Go to E.On, they have much better customer service. :D

I was with E.On for years, then they stopped doing FixOnline, and the good deals dried up. I feel like a hooker, got addicted to cheap deals, and will go with any pimp that can give me a FIX.

Looks like there is no need to call at all.

Scottish Power called me around 17:50 this afternoon,
to tell me about the Mach 2015 fix!

It was launched on Friday, three days ago, but the website was only updated over the weekend.

What a bunch of eager beavers.

As an existing SP customer I aslo switched via my account. Don't see why they have to ring me. I've told them what I want, just send me the paperwork.

Does anyone know roughly how long a switch usually takes to come into effect. I'm currently on the Jan 2014 fixed price tariff which ends at the end of Dec but was hoping to hold off initiating the switch via My Account until start Nov so I can get another payment out of the way first given the Jan tariff is £15 month less.

I've never done this before (I usually end up changing energy providers) so don't want to miss the boat where the March 2015 tariff is withdrawn before I complete the switch. I'm assuming as it just came out last friday it will still be around at the start of Nov but if Tornado's experince re the 5 day call back is typical this will add further delays to how long the switch takes.

I am currently a SP custome on their Online Enery Saver 4 product and was thinking of switching to their Online Fixed Price Energy March 2015.

First and foremost is it worth me switching?

I tried calling them last night do discuss switching but couldnt get through.

    Any advice would be welcomed.
