I have flown by EasyJet recently with the larger hand baggage size and had no problem. I did not totice any other passengers having their hand luggage taken from them. Maybe I was just lucky. It certainly would make customers aware if EasyJet added something to their website stating what and what you were not allowed to take on board with you if you hand luggage is put in the hold.
  • It did happen to me and I was just permitted to take what I could put in my pockets plus my Duty free purchased at the airport which consisted on one bottle of Brandy. Then did ask if I had any medicines but that was all. Consequently I wrote and tried E Mailing Easy Jet on this subject asking them if my "Larger" Cabin bag was put into the hold then what I would be allowed to carry/take onto the aircraft with me. That was a month ago but I have still not received any type of reply. As the original posting made the point Easy Jet should publish clearly what you are allowed to take on board if your "Larger" cabin baggage is put in the hold, then all passengers would know exactly where they stand on this issue.
  • So presumably you are now allowed to take duy free on board Easy Jet flights. This must restrict the luggage space. I totally agree that Easy Jet should publish their rules. I have no problem and would accept as long as I knew what I was and was not allowed if my bagge was put in the hold. To date when I have taken the larger size cabin baggage I have been allowed to take it on board but there is always the first time!!!
