Well the good news is that the drugs are covered in full by clinic!

I was hoping someone may answer what might I fear be a silly question. I know normally if pregnant then 40 weeks start from date of last period, but I am wondering what the starting point is if lucky enough for IVF to work as if I understand correctly the drugs at start extend cycle?

This really got me when I was pregnant with Freddie. Despite being able to tell them the precise day of my egg transfer they still date it from your last period. But it's not really that important anyway because you'll get a 7 week scan where they'll give you a due date (which is probably based on transfer) and then you'll have a dating scan (12ish weeks) when they fiddle around with your dates based on the size of the baby and change everything anyway. This happens regardless of method of conception and always supersedes any previous dates you've been given.

One of my "helpful" friends bought a psychic baby reading for me (without my knowledge - otherwise I'd have told her to forget it). The psychic reckons I'll get pregnant in February - obviously didn't get the absence of sperm memo. I doubt we'll even have a FS appointment by then. Perhaps I'm having an affair. I hope its with Alexander Skarsgard or Joe Manganiello!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Didn't manage to phone the clinic today because I just couldn't get any time alone. Everytime I found a quiet spot, I'd dial 3 numbers and someone would come in. Think I might try to swing a work from home day and call then. I also can't find the blimmin letter.

I probably shouldn't be watching this 999 whats your emergency - about babies and giving birth. Making me annoyed and sad, and hopeful and excited.

I'm officially giving up for this month. Still -ve opks (CD25) and now OH has man flu. He's wrapped up in bed feeling sorry for himself, so no chance of DTD any time soon. Plus, whenever he's ill he recovers in two days, then I get whatever he had and am ill for a fortnight.

How's everyone today? Can't remember where everyone's up to - are there scans today?

Scan went OK. 8 small follicles - although I swear I saw another one! All around 7-8mm. Lining still thin, but early days for that. At 4.3mm.

No retained blood, no random IUD! They seem pleased although have increased menopur a little. Ec estimated on Friday next week. I'm away that weekend... And they can do et on the Sunday, so that may be interesting. But will deal with that if it happens.

Happy enough. Last time there were 12 though so I can't help comparing!

T2D: That's a good start! They said to me that the lining thickness goes hand in hand with follicle size, so I suspect it will shoot up once they star getting a bit bigger. I couldn't bring myself to watch 999...I stuck with something not so close to home and watched Ripper Street instead!

Tea: Fingers crossed you get your +ve but don't get hubby's germs!

Yup T2D, trigger shot tonight, EC Thursday and then I suspect they'll do a 2 day transfer as I assume I won't have many eggs. It'll be interesting as I'm supposed to be at a wedding on Saturday...what do you think? Should I start coughing now to set up for illness? I'd got a lovely frock to wear too :-(

At the moment, all I want to do is watch weepy films and have a good cry...
