Derby sorry to hear your scan wasn't great news,I know Ivf is different to injections in that it took about 5.5 weeks to get 1 follie form me. I hope next time brings better news.

The clinic just rang and we have no embryos _pale_. Can't stop crying and just want DH to come home. I don't what to do next; my aim was to at least make it to embryo transfer. The embryologist said there is a tiny chance fertilisation might take place today and he will call me again tomorrow but I'm not holding out much hope.

I'm feeling really sad at photos of Gwen Stefani at the minute..I think she must be due around when I would have been if mine hadn't died. It doesn't feel right that I've been left with nothing..

I have been trying to quit carbs again...mostly managing but falling off the wagon every now and then. Mostly with chips. And chip sandwiches. Sometimes with added cheese..

Derby, as the others said it's early days, new ones can appear. I'm off for my scan now, but I'm still DR so not sure what they look for.

Sorry to ask this, but has anyone had an internal scan while bleeding? I've had so many people poking around down there in the past you'd think I was OK with it, but I'm a bit squeamish about this scan while bleeding.

Yup - short protocol cycles start on CD1/2 with a scan. Great fun! Tbh was dreading it (have had loads when not bleeding with no problems) but it really was fine. Just have to tell yourself that they see this all the time! Made me laugh as I was lying there ready to go and the nurse came in and whispered to me (no idea why, no one else there!) to ask if I had a tampon in :rotfl:. Am guessing they must have encountered this before to even ask!

Ok it's not the most dignified 2 mins of your life but it's quick, relatively painless and you get to reward yourself with chocolate afterwards .

Thanks Tea and T2D. I'm feeling slightly more rational now that I'm over the initial disappointment. Hopefully they'll up me to 300ui which is what he was planning to do in the first place and the scan will show some better news.

T2D: I've had a few scans whilst still bleeding and it's not too bad. They tend to put some extra covers down for you, and they did check I hadn't got a tampon in (would have made for an interesting scan...), but it really is nothing they haven't seen before. I find the weirdest bit getting on and off the bed, not sure why...Good luck for the scan-hopefully nothing will be happening (which for now is a good thing!).

Just spoke to a lovely acupuncturist guy to prepare for some supportive acup and he was very nice. Ive been seeing a lady do ages, but I feel like its time for a change.

Bit nervous about this appointment! So much hope and fear.
