Morning ladies.
Gosh I have a lot of respect for all you ladies with heavy periods. I've never had to worry about it too much and never understood why people worried so much about avoiding it on holidays etc.
But this time has been crazy. I'm still bleeding heavily, and worrying about sitting down etc, and not sleeping comfortably with worry about leaks! It's getting lighter today but clearly can't swim etc. Doctors have advised against using tampons and mooncup won't work (due to my 'non-standard' body).
Anyway, just a whinge. Would love a final swim in the sea today as we go home tomorrow, but it's a small thing in the wider scheme of life.0 -

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
T2d hope you enjoy the last bit of your holiday.

:(:(:(:(
Thats how I am feeling today. No particular reason really.... Apart from that I had that AF style cramping Friday night and a bit of yesterday but no crampyness today - which of course makes my heart think "oooh i still may have a chance this month" whilst my head goes "hahaha u stupid whatsit - ur having pre-af cramps, she is due tuesday so stop hoping."
Have the appt with GP on Weds - i know that my results of day 21 bloods are back in because they were in on Thursday (next day from blood test!) but receptionist obvs couldnt tell me anything etc.... and joy of joys - i will be sat with GP on probably CD2 or so. BAH BAH BAH!!!!
Sorry ladiesBaldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
Hugs bigmomma, I hope your cd21 bloods bring good news.0

Perfect timing bigmomma. You can ask for your CD2/3 bloods to be taken.
I am also feeling:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(. Not sure if it's because of the change in seasons, or because we were looking after DH's cousin's dog and took her back, or because my poor mutt is all upset because of the fireworks (we have a lot of Indian families around us so we've had Diwali fireworks as well as early Guy Fawkes ones), or if the crappy sperm analysis - absence of sperm thing, meaning no baby is finally sinking in or the BFPs on the other thread or knowing my best friend who didn't really want a baby and got pregnant the first month off the pill is being induced next week or just general Sunday blues or a combination of them but I'm really struggling not to just climb into bed, pull the covers over my head and refuse to leave.
Going back to the conversation about work before. I also hate my job but it wasn't always the case. The first year or two, I loved my job and I actually looked forward to Mondays. I liked my team, I loved the job and I was happy. Then people started leaving and not being replaced, and a clique developed and the management started putting on more pressure, and we haven't had pay rises in years and then they brought in all these consultants doing the same job and earning what I earn in a week each day and it's just worn me away to the point where I don't care - I don't want to be there anymore. I was only staying because the maternity package is really good but it looks like I'm not going to need that anyway.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
