Derby - how exciting! Don't over think the drinking thing. Just day you are trying to be healthy - and you can fake it. Bartenders are very discreet at being complicit I find. Lime and soda in a wine glass fools anyone. And I normally find they just smile and prepare it.

Rounds are a problem though of course. Becks blue is also good if you slightly conceal the label no one will notice. I've gone up to the bar before and just asked for a nonalcoholic drink that looks real and they sort me out!

Whoever asked me - next step is ivf!! Which is very exciting, but I think AF has shown up VERY early and I don't have the nasal spray. I'll call once I get back and see if I can do a short protocol.

    Good luck T2D.

EC booked for Tuesday. Have 5 almost mature follies and loads of (much) smaller ones. Really worried now they won't find any decent eggs or none will fertilise or no embryo will develop enough to be transferred. 5 seems such a small number :(. Don't whether it's enough or not. The nurse said we only need one good one so I hope all 5 are good ones.

Arrgh... I can't convince myself otherwise now, AF here with a vengeance. and I'm not prepared - got a few pads but I'll have to go and see what the local shops have on offer tomorrow.

Dammit dammit dammit. It will be CD 5 by the time I get meds which is probably too late. Stupid body! Always reliable and decides to mess around this month. Sigh...

Further to my earlier post, I got all my ivf drugs from Central Homecare saving about £400! Their phone number is 01420 543400.
They were cheaper than Asda and fertility2u. Hope it helps.

It's because I foolishly planned and started to hope. I uttered the fateful words 'I could be pregnant by then' and so fate had to slap me down again and remind I'm infertile and accept it.

Now I just need some random person to say 'why don't you just adopt' to complete my day.

    Whinge.

t2d really sorry it turned out to be AF!

    Rowing girl - good luck!

Sorry I can't mention everyone it's so hard to go back and look when I'm on my silly phone who said what!

Sending everyone hugs that needs them.

PM - is AF still here?

    AFM:

Had sort boobies the last couple of days which for me is usually a sign of Ovulation! The rare times it actually happens I've noticed that is a sign!
But it's cd 30 today, and considering I took 150mg of clomid this month I think that's a bit crap! Will mention it on Tuesday when I go to the hospital.

I'm expecting them to turn round and say " go away lose weight and come back in 3-6 months when you've lost it "
    Ugh that's a depressing thought!

Managed to fall out with my OH tonight too, over a toffee apple crumble! He wanted it, I said I wasn't bothered, he put oven on, asked me to go and put the crumble in, I say I can't be bothered/don't want it and so he turns oven off puts crumble back in freezer all whilst stomping around and then goes on computer and ignores me.........men!
  • Hiya - just popping in to say hello! Hope everyone is okay and things going along as they should...

Going to bed in a minute as DH is working tomorrow AND sunday (having worked all week) so needs some rest....

    So

Good thing about today - Hubby decided to treat us to a nice "posh pub" meal out - we had expensive options AND pudding lol! Yay!!! :j

Bad thing about today - Halfway through said tasty tea, I started feeling all backachey and crampy and as if AF was going to be heading in my direction.... BUT she bloo*y well shouldnt be yet! I am only CD21 and so should really have at LEAST 5 days yet as i am usually a 26-28 day cycle. BAH BAH BAH. Too late to be anything exciting or baby related - so must just be AF making herself known a few days early. :(
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
