Goes off to cry in a corner about male factor infertility.
Sounds very much like my weekend too.0 -
Peonie I took menopur in the evening (between 7-8pm) and cetrotide in the morning (9am) as per my clinic's instructions. I had to take cetrotide at work so used the disabled loo; 1 dose came in the 1 box so it was very portable & discreet. Menopur was more difficult as the vial contains multiple doses and the needles are separate. I had 2 nights out during treatment so arranged to go out after taking the injection.
Hugs code & tea. I did the same thing this weekend and almost convinced myself that I'll have terrible eggs and no embryos. Dr Google is no one's friend! The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0 -

Peonie - I have a nasal spray for down regging which is super easy to do if out and about so not sure if you could request that option instead? Its called Synarel I think. Can't believe how many of us are at this stage at the moment.
PM - lots of luck with the injections, I hope you feel better on them this time and that they do their stuff quickly for you.
AFM, I have practically zero side effects from down regging (other than feeling constantly roasting) so have convinced myself that its not actually doing anything!
Also, appears that everyone is on Menopur for stimming - has anyone any experience of Gonal F? I just read an interesting article comparing the two.
ETA: Forgot to say, hope everything goes smoothly for you tomorrow Rowingirl. V. exciting!
Hugs to everyone that needs, will go back to lurking.0 -
WW no experience of anything other than menopur im afraid.0

Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish Code.
Thinking of with the start of injections Part.
Well as expected it showed late yesterday so today is officially CD 1.
So my stats are
15 months TTC
16 cycles
5 Clomid cycles
0 bfp not even a hint of a tlp
So let's start cycle 17 (6 of Clomid). Don't know why we're bothering as its obv from the SA results it is not going to happen
Plus I've read the stupid article about ICSI and side effects to the child. Life is bloody marvellous.0 -
Hi all
Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hi
We've now been TTC for a year with no luck at all - not even a TLP so we've got a doctors appt booked for next week to see what our next steps are.
Had an ultrasound and internal scan earlier this year to check for PCOS and no sign of any problems so we are totally in the dark as to what might be the problem.
Wishing you all masses of luck on your journey ahead and catch up with you soon (although really hope you've all moved on to the BFP thread) once we've had our appt and know which steps are next

Little me hugs for cd1 if we're unsuccessful with the injections then its going to be surgery and more meds and then Icsi for us, sorry you've not had a good outcome on clomid either.
Gelly welcome to you, glad to hear they can't find my probs, frustrating though I guess when it's unexplained.0 -
Thanks for the welcome Part Mouse - I must admit, I've got a taster reflexology session at work next week (annual charity event) and having googled the reflexologist, she specialises in fertility so I'm a little bit excited by my session with her next Thursday.
Had a look at her testimonials and can see one from a lady I used to go to school with - know it's her as the name of her and her little girl is the same plus I know she had 3MC's in 3 years so I'm very hopeful she might be able to help us. She does all sorts of holistic therapies and depending on what the doctor says, I'm prepared to consider most things!
