Doesn't it just. Hugs ladies x.0 -
Just complained about a comment on the NHS IVF page going on about how IVF is wrong and why don't we all just adopt. Got a response saying it's staying up as it's not violating any moderation rules.
So anyway...Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Thanks frozenpenguin. Good luck with your application for NHS funding. Our paperwork took 5 weeks to be processed and we started IVF 3 weeks later so things move quickly. I did a load of research before we went to the initial FS appointment and this made it far less dauting and easier to understand what the doctor & nurse told (although they explained everything throughly and answered all our questions).
Sewit - glad your OH apologised.
PartMouse - fingers crossed for BFP. Spotting could be breakthrough bleeding and not AF.
Code - my GP is the same; won't give any results over the phone regardless. Really annoyed me until I asked the receptionist to check which blood tests I'd had and the receptionist didn't understand the hormone acroynms and started panicking! Hopefully it's not bad news. Never understood why NHS Choices has a comments section; what's the point?
TCD - newspaper comments are . Guardian has some interesting infertility articles but its comments sections are just as bad.
Derby2 - good luck with your IVF cycle. I found taking injections nowhere near as bad as I thought they'd be. How long before you start stims? My clinic has given me the choice of sedation or general anaesthetic for egg collection.
T2D please can you update me on the list - started stimulation on 23/10/13 (short protocol IVF cycle)
Day 2 of stimulation injections and have my first scan on Monday. Hopefully they'll see enough follicles developing and I'm not over stimulated. The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0 -

Little me thanks, 2 months of injections to get one egg, so not looking forward to the next cycle.0

Oh poop
so sorry PM. I too will be keeping my fingers crossed that your ovaries just needed this kick start and they'll start to do what they're told now.
