Glad the op went well t2d.
Sorry, on phone and at work (norty) so haven't read back, but am sending hugs to all xxx
Afm, fs appt this morning. Had to go alone which sucked cause dh couldn't get time off workResults show that everything is normal which is sort of good and sort of bad. Bad because, as fs said, now we're scratching our heads.
Have been booked in for lap and dye, probs in December (happy happy xmas me!!). I'd be really grateful to hear of other people's experience of it as am currently feeling very frightened35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -
I mean it clearly wasn't likely that I would get pregnant naturally, so I know it's the best thing, but I can't help but feel a little upset that the chance it completely removed.
Yeah, I get you. On the other hand though.. when I totally gave up the idea of getting pregnant naturally I relaxed a lot. It took the pressure off sex, it stopped me obsessively symptom spotting then feeling despairing each time I got my period. I accepted that I'd need a bit of help and stopped hating my body for letting me down every four weeks.
I can't wait for you to start IVF again. I've got everything crossed, including my eyes."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Have just eaten a massive (think large party family) packet of crisps for my tea. Probably not the ideal pre-ivf diet!!0

I've gone crazy tonight too. Far too much food, and I'm thinking of more! What happened my diet?!?0

Thrilled it went well today T2D.
We had our initial fertility appointment today and will be starting short protocol IVF tomorrow as I'm on CD3. I was told I have polycystic ovaries as my baseline scan showed I had 20-30 follicles in each ovary. I have my medication in the fridge and am trying to get my head round doing my first injection tomorrow evening.

How exciting rowingirl!

Hi Ladies,
I'm thinking of doing a simple version of the lists on the other thread, now that I can leave the main list of page 1. BUT - I don't want anyone to feel left-out or pressured, like if they aren't on a list then nothing is happening, but at the same time it's nice to keep easy track of things that are changing.
First idea below - let me know your thoughts. Oh, and if you want to be added to either list.
Cheers
IVF/ICSI/FET cycles currently ongoing.
Derby2: Start down-regging on 20th October.
Wonder Woman: Starting down regulation on 24.10.13
Tea Lover: Starting down reg 31.10.2013

I think that's a good idea time to deal :T
Rowingirl - fab news! Good luck with the injections and meds, I feel both excited and daunted at just the thought of having IVF!
AFM at the moment...
We had our FS appointment last week and the doc's referred us to the clinic head honcho so we can get started with IVF. I've done 6 rounds of clomid now with no luck so they thought that was enough of a go (I'm secretly quite pleased I don't have to take it any more as I put on almost a stone on Clomid!)
Apparently there's no waiting list in our area and the doc said we've already met the criteria for one funded go so it's just a case of waiting for all the paperwork to come through. At our first proper IVF appointment, they'll give us a timetable of when to come in for all the tests and go through all the medications and procedues.
The doc claimed it'd be about 6-10 weeks before we can get started (which makes it Christmas) but I'm assuming things will get delayed/lost/cancelled/etc and crossing my fingers to get started in the new year.
time2deal - no rush, but please can you update my details when you next do the list? Thank you x
FrozenPenguin TTC#1 since Dec 2011. Me 30, DH 35, Me: mild PCOS, irregular cycles and irregular ovulation. Had Day 3/Day 21 tests, Ultrasound, HSG, 6 rounds of Clomid. DH: low SA in all 3 areas (count, morphology and motility) and a varicocele. Next step: awaiting a date to meet the Consultant to get started with IVF0
