Good stuff RG! X0

Hi all,
Thats a good haul RG all the best for Thursday.
Goodluck to all the ladies having scans and injections.
Littleme - happy that the HSG went well. I had HSG in September the appt was at 10 and was back to work in the afternoon not much cramps or pain. hope its the same for you.
Tealover - I would apply along with all the other ladies dont put life on hold for TTC.
AFM - had my first appointment today and its going to be long protocol starting on CD21 as I have less ovarian reserve.
currently on CD11 so coordination appt is on Feb 13th and I will start injections on Feb 14th. That was so quick I am excited and scared at the same time. our PCT offers only 1 cycle so this is our first and last chance.
can any one suggest me the time scale for Long protocol. if I start on 14th Feb when will be EC and ET.
Dont know who is doing the lists now, but here is the update:
Starting Long protocol IVF on 14 Feb
by DH cant make it to the coordination IVF appt as well as he works in sheffield and already took a day off for feb 10th for his NHS appt so cant take a day off again on 13th. Can I take in all the information?

I am so angry & upset, but I'm not sure why & at what!
Had my urgent referral this morning at the county hospital due to pituitary tumour - I arranged childcare, they dragged me 30miles, £3 parking (for 35 minutes!), stress going around & around the 2 hospital carparks worrying that I was going to miss my appointment because I couldn't find a space & waited over 30 minutes just to tell me in 30 seconds, that they couldn't deal with me & I'd be referred to Birmingham. !!!!!!?! They couldn't have done that on the phone or gone back to my GP? I was steeled for the worst possible diagnosis (just in case!) & discussions re my treatment etc.
I was in so much shock I didn't even ask how long the new referral will take. My poor GP has bent over backwards & got me an urgent referral within 8 days, all for nothing, zilch, nada
I've bought my bodyweight in chcololate as hubby away tonight & I'm just sitting in tears.0 -
Love Actually - Great news! You will DR for around 2-3 weeks from day 21. Then you will move onto stimming which will be around 10-14 days. Then EC and ET can be 2-5 days later. Sorry these dates are so vague, but it really is all depending on how you respond to the treatment. good luck!
Skintt_catt - sorry it was a wasted journey, enjoy all the chocolate.
RG - WOW, what a great load of eggs, so different to last time (if I remember rightly). Let us know how EC goes!
Vesper - I didn't watch the last series of that, just couldn't do it, and I won't be watching a new one either.
Littleme - glad HSG went well and that all seems to be ok.
Tea - get dancing and get enquiring for that job!
Frozen - glad everything is nice and quiet in there. Good luck with the injections, the Gonal F is easy but not so much the other ones!
Hugs to everyone else and thanks for the good wishes WTDN, its good to know that others have felt like I do.

Huge huge huge congratulations to teaandcakeordeath, Peonie, time2deal and Whattodonow. Such a special time and I'm made up for you all. Here's hoping you have an incredibly dull but pleasant next 8 months or so
PS. A bit lacking on the hpt !!!!!!, ladies. Tsk tsk"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Just stopping by to say to Tea, I was job hunting and moving to a different country during IVF. I could have stayed in my old job for the maternity pay, but I was so unhappy and was sick of having my life on hold. I only qualify for maternity allowance now (£134 per week) because I haven't been with company for 26 weeks before my due date, but I figured we'd waited so long for a baby that if the IVF worked, we'd figure it out financially by doing whatever it takes x0

Also, having other things going on took my mnd off it all and put less pressure on me, as even if it was unsuccessful, I had things to look forward to x0

OMG hormones, why on earth do we have to be so full of them? Cue bursting into tears tonight for absolutely no reason at all tonight.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

4x as many follies as last time. Triggering with Buserelin; has anyone used this trigger before? The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0
