As for unreasonable Pregnancy tests, I went for a hysteroscopy to see if there as any reason for IVF never working, EVER. Before I went in I was asked to do a pregnancy test. I flat out refused, stating that I have no tubes. The surgeons assistant and the anaesthetist said
'Oh but you could still be, it's still very possible'
Errr, no it can't, it simply can't and I still refused. Luckily the lovely nurse who put my canula in etc saw sense ticked the 'not required' box on my forms.
    Ridiculous!

Is your Dr your GP or a Fertility specialist? Either way I would wait until you have seen the Endo or Neuro specialist for final confirmation as my Endo said I shouldn't even have been referred to her, in her opinion my FS should have just prescribed the medication directly.

But I feel your pain, it is a weird sounding op and I was really anxious about the thought of having it.

She's my GP. Got home today to find a letter from the county hospital - the Ear, Nose & Throat surgeon wants to see me Monday. Who knew trying to conceive would have me going to ENT Department!! ::rotfl:

Grrr, just tried to talk to DH about our next moves after he asked why I was still going for the HSG. He just said "I'm really sad I can't have a baby", then went upstairs to watch football.

    I'm really sad again now.

Well that's certainly an unexpected twist. Normally they're messing around the other end. :rotfl:

Hugs and big giant knickerbocker glories all round with thick chocolate sticky brownies all round.
Another one with heart burn today. Went swimming which seemed to make it worse. My mum wanted to know what was wrong with me. When I said heartburn, she just said its ages since breakfast why have you got heartburn. I couldn't quite answer that it what tends to happen to my body around ov time.

Hey ladies, what do you do if you don't remember if you took folic acid or not? Most days I can't remember if I've taken it and don't want to take a second in case I have.

Can you have too much folic acid? I take two tablets, can't see that a double dose can do much harm.
