    Congratulations! :T

Time is really dragging for me! Have a baseline scan booked in for this afternoon to compare to when start short protocol on next CD1 (23rd Feb approx.) and a 2 hour meeting tomorrow with a nurse to explain in detail the process we will be going through ! It's a little disappointing cant start this month but an extra month will give me longer to prepare!

Second baseline scan showed the right lining so I start stimming (short protocol) tonight. My doctor is nervous about OHSS so my next scan is Friday.

WTDN, T2D & Peonie I still have my fingers crossed for you. It can't be over yet because I don't hear a fat lady singing.

T2D ugh for the course. Maybe you could make up random goals like visiting the Moon or swimming across the Atlantic? Fight BS with BS.

Star that's frustrating they want to compare baseline scans. I hope this month goes quickly for you.

FD sorry to hear you're feeling down. Infertility has felt like a gigantic black hole with no escape route at times. Is there anything you're particularly scared about it or is it just an overwhelming feeling?

Just had to block another facebook friend for posting too many annoying links inviting people to withdraw their child from education so they can learn from nature (cause future employers really dig that learning from nature certificate), breastfeed for all eternity (I have no problem with breastfeeding, just don't need to keep reading articles about it), never put the baby down, sleep in the same bed as the baby, participate in never, ever disciplining a child as this is "damaging to his/her self-esteem etc.

I have no objection to people raising their children however they wish - though I don't think I agree with any of it - I just don't want it pushed down my throat when I don't even have any children.

Can't they just go and post this crap on mumsnet or something?

Well I wasn't expecting my MRI results for another 10 days but got a call from my Dr this morning. I have a 'growth' on my pituitary gland :( Dr wants me seen as a matter of urgency by the endocrinologist or neurosurgeon. Who knew my TTC would take me here! :(

Huge hugs skint and everyone else who needs them.

Big congratulations to TCD! There's hope for us all! :T

Sorry for being so AWOL of late, I'm pretty miffed with the test results I'm waiting on not appearing yet and it looks like we might now miss starting ICSI this cycle as a result. I know after two years of being on a waiting list going nowhere another month isn't much but it felt so close. Fingers crossed they pull their fingers out and we can get on this cycle after all.

Ok here's a question which has absolutely nothing to do with TTC. DH is watching Hollyoaks just now. Why do all the girls in Hollyoaks dress like they're going to the disco all the time? Even at 8am when they're having breakfast they look like they're going clubbing.

It's Hollyoaks! Thinks that's the only answer I can give.

Oh my gosh Skint_catt. Huge hugs.

Hugs to those that need it. I don't think I've ever dealt with anything as difficult as ttc. But I know it's worth it. Even if we are never successful it's still worth it.
