NB: i did not relax... ttc has been the singularly most stressful thing ever in my life and it ruined my s.ex life- RUINED it. *facepalm*. It's the first time i've ever had a positive test. I think i'm going to try and book a private scan though as I don't believe it and I also had a pretty ropey af last month so not sure of dates or anything. The hewitt won't help me as it's a natural bfp so all of the info re. the fact that I would be a high risk pregnancy is lost and I start off as a normal pregnancy. It's all so very surreal. I hope you all join me soon.
I know it'll seem like forever in the future now but you'll be asked at your booking in appointment with the midwife if there's any risk factors so things should be picked up nice and early and a referral for consultant led care started if needed as that's around 8/9 weeks xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Thanks TL. I have an appt for 6th Feb but am still thinking about early scan. Not sure if that's insane though.
Code- not insane, rephrase it as proactive.0 -
Don't worry code that's not crazy. For a while a couple of years ago, I kept looking at one of the adoption websites which have children on there that were looking for families.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

Oh I look at that one all the time. :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Ahhh Teaandcake thats wonderful news!
Don't you put it in white lol.... we rarely get any good news from one of our own (on here i mean!!)
:j:j:j:j
See ^^^ I am excited for you AND I am on CD1. So you can imagine that I really must be happy for you because if I was anywhere else and saw a BFP today, I might have strangled the tester!!!!!!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
Brill news teandcake!!!!!!
Hi all
Code your not mad, had a couple of looks at SD sites myself, just in case. Don't feel so bad about it now, that I am not the only one.
Nothing new here. AF due tomorrow from cramps today. Not that was any chance as SA was over my ov time this month.
Going to phone the clinic tomorrow to see if any more dates for appointments.0 -
Congratulations TCD. Can't you contact the early pregnancy unit at the local hospital (not HC) that you were at? When we were referred to the HC by the FS he said if we had a BFP before we had IVF we were to phone the early pregnancy unit and we would have an early scan. I don't see why it's any different for you. Do you know how far gone you are?
As bigmomma said, I'm genuinely happy for the ladies on here who get their BFPs.
Tea, your Dr friend is annoying. If she's a GP she needs to know the situation is not the same. Who knows what she could say to her patients.
Arrrggghhhhh T2D, I was fine until I saw your posts and now I want to test. I have the sticks ready and waiting. But don't, wait with me until Friday morning. WTDN, I wish yours was 2 days earlier then we could test together. T2D, did they tell you when you should test? I've booked Friday off work in case it's bad news.
Code, I did not know you could search the profiles of donors! Maybe look for donors that match Mr Code. If I donated eggs I think I would be gutted if they did not want to find me or have a relationship with me.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

I have a feeling my body may take the decision away from me. Decent cramps this morning, all feeling very normal pre-AF'y.
Not a positive day. And I can't take any time off as I have a very important meeting on Wednesday, and a course I have to complete on Thursday and Friday. It's a course to get us all excited about the company's new direction, and be motivated to be 'great' for 2014. Probably the exact opposite of what I will be feeling like doing.0 -
