    Congratulations teaandcake.

Step away from the tests ladies. Not long now!

Spent a lovely evening babysitting my friends toddler with my hubby. If was lovely, but was a little sad to see the boy so happily playing with my hubby. Then all he wanted to do was curl up with hubby on the sofa, and there was no way he was allowed ME to put him to bed.

Thanks fluffnutter, I hadn't realised that thanks!

Had my MRI scan on Wednesday - got to wait 2 weeks for the results from my GP. Hope this is the end & they can fix whatever they've found wrong with my pituitary gland & help me ovulate again. :(

    Congratulations TCD, that's brilliant news.

    Happy Australia Day T2D.

Baseline scan didn't go too well. My lining was too thick to start the next cycle yet. I have another scan tomorrow morning and hope my lining has gone down to 3mm.

Congratulations tcd! What a wonderful surprise! You've done that 'go on holiday and relax' thing, just to annoy us that it really is true. ;)

Is this your first ever since starting in 2011?

When people show you who they are, believe them the first time
  • Yup... I'm the hateful 'just had s.ex the once last month and relaxed' woman. NB: i did not relax... ttc has been the singularly most stressful thing ever in my life and it ruined my s.ex life- RUINED it. *facepalm*. It's the first time i've ever had a positive test. I think i'm going to try and book a private scan though as I don't believe it and I also had a pretty ropey af last month so not sure of dates or anything. The hewitt won't help me as it's a natural bfp so all of the info re. the fact that I would be a high risk pregnancy is lost and I start off as a normal pregnancy. It's all so very surreal. I hope you all join me soon.

Just been having a look at some donor sites, just for information and started looking at the donors. How on earth do you choose someone to provide the biological material for a child? I keep thinking they're all too short :rotfl: Presumably in real life I wont be given much of a choice??

How on earth have I gone from DH says he'll consider sperm donation to looking at donors? I have actually bypassed crazy and gone straight to insane.
