We have a three eyed alien from Toy Story and keep it on the sofa so we can cuddle it. It's good baby & pet substitute. The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0

Anyone know of any IF/IVF blogs? I've searched loads, and trawled through some huge lists on stirrup queens but all I can find is blogs that haven't been updated for 3+ years or blogs where people now have children.
I know I should be glad about the children ones as it shows that IF can end well....eventually! But at the moment I really feel a need to read about other people going through this and it's annoying me that I can't find anything.
The only current one I've found for ages is nuts in may (who I've been following for quite a while) and as many of you know, things aren't going brilliantly there atm.
Ladies - www.fertilityfriends.co.uk offers a wealth of support and info.
Hope no-one minds me posting as I still keep an eye on this thread.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions ladies. Will have another look around and may finally get round to starting my own blog.... maybe.
This isn't TTC-related but there's no one else I can tell as it's weird and TMI for normal conversations:rotfl:.... I'm getting really bad bum-ache at work! Not like piles  (know that one!), or anything internal, just like I've been kicked where I sit down and it's sooooo uncomfy.
For the record, I haven't been kicked (sure I'd remember). It feels like if you fall over attempting to ice-skate (haven't done that either).
!!!!!! is wrong with me?!? It's bad enough being infertile and having various 'womens problems' complaints but now I have bum-ache?!? I must have seriously peed off life, my karma is shot!0 -

I'm back to the same cycle of having a few days break from bleeding a month.
Hugs PM, hopefully you can get a new FS soon and they will surprise you by being super helpful and get you completely sorted.

My confession: I have a book suitable for maybe a 2 year old, that I hid in the bookcase.. I saw it in a charity shop and had to have it.
TL - could you have pulled a muscle?0 -

Could be a boil/hair follicle infection. They feel like deep bruises for a while and the turn into something more like a bum pimple. Which then can either sort it self out naturlaly or need lancing.
Treatment would be to get some antiseptic cream and put it on. May stop it getting worse and speed up your body sorting it out.0 -
Danielley I would love to hope so, I had a coil a number of years ago for the crazy bleeding. My prob is I never ov but my lining keeps thinking so much it just comes away very rapidly
Tea ouch, sounds painful, my bum hursts to but that's lots of working out.0 -
I will confess that I have a tiny grey velvet dress hidden under my bed...too old to gift it to anyone who actually has a baby (The shop it came from might point out it's from 2009 season if anyone tried to return it..)
++++++++
I will also confess I have tested 3 times today even though it's only CD23. BFN, of course. Why do I do it?! (I know why, because of how desperate I am. And after 2 m/cs in 5 months, part of me has more expectation of seeing a line than ever before, having reached the point of nil expectation after 4 years of zilch.) Anyway, after seeing the expanse of white on the HPT yesterday, I drank a bottle of wine and ate a whole packet of doughballs with garlic butter to make myself feel better. I felt considerably worse this morning, obviously, but was just about worth it for the approx 2 hours of mild oblivion it got me..

My confession :
About 3 years ago (yes, when we starting ttc...shhhhh... that has NO relevance!!) We asked local businesses for prizes for a raffle where i work.... nobody ever claimed the prize for a beautiful basket of browns/creams coloured baby gros, hamper type thing. I had it in the boot of my car for ages because there was nowhere to store it at the office. Then, once I was sure nobody was going to claim it (5 months on lol!) it MAY have found its way into my house. In my cupboard under the stairs.
I get it out every now and then just to look at, then I put it back. I am ONE step away from crazy cat lady, I know!
Off the subject of confessions...
DH got phonecall from the GP's today to say his SA results were back in (quick as he only "did it" on Tuesday!)..... Obvs the receptionist couldnt give him the results so offered a phonecall or an appointment from GP. So I am of course now wondering if its not TERRIBLE news, as SURELY they would have asked him to go in, and not just tell him over the phone?!?!!! SURELY no Gp, no matter how carp they are, would tell a man "sorry you are completely infertile and will never have kids naturally" over the phone?? But who knows.... So he said telephone appt (what a surprise!) and has to wait TWO WEEKS for the call. Is it just me who thinks that pretty darn long to keep him in suspense....? Especially as they have the results..... Yet I called up earlier (only about 45mins before they spoke to him) with a non-urgent,non ttc related issue and they are ringing me back tomorrow at 10am
:cool::cool::cool: Tempted to call tomorrow and say he is freaking out (which he is!) and pleeeeease could they call him earlier than 2 weeks time :cool:Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0
