Hugs to everyone that needs them, sounds like we're all having a rocky start to the new year.

My confession is that I bought our dog a festive jumper and actually prefer his company to almost everyone else except DH. I have far more sensible conversations with him and he turns his head from side to side to listen! :rotfl: CUCKOO!

  • Well if we are talking about treating animals like children then I will add that on Mother's Day, birthday & Xmas I get presents from my animals along with cards saying To my Mummy. I in turn give my parents presents from the animals with cards to Grandma & Granda :o

I'm glad it's not just me that sees the pet as a baby :o.
  • We have a battery-powered dancing singing large cuddly Christmas dog (which we were given as a present a few years ago).
Over Christmas DH confessed to holding it like a baby "to see what it felt like" :rotfl:

So it's not just us ladies going cuckoo! :D x

Anyone know of any IF/IVF blogs? I've searched loads, and trawled through some huge lists on stirrup queens but all I can find is blogs that haven't been updated for 3+ years or blogs where people now have children.

I know I should be glad about the children ones as it shows that IF can end well....eventually! But at the moment I really feel a need to read about other people going through this and it's annoying me that I can't find anything.

The only current one I've found for ages is nuts in may (who I've been following for quite a while) and as many of you know, things aren't going brilliantly there atm.

Well, there's mine, but you already know where I'm at. :rotfl:

On babynbump you can maintain a blog/diary associated with your profile. You could click on a few names and see if anyone has posted anything.

I think the best places are still forums. BnB assisted conception threads are less insane than the normal TTC boards - which are full of 'I STUBBED MY TOE, IS THIS A SYMPTOM. OMG OMG EXCITED' type posts.

Plus netmums has a great bitter thread for your bitter days. Again in their conception area.

Have you tried checking out the blogs of the people who regularly comment on May's blog? She has a twitter feed too that might be worth checking out for similar...?
