Angel - I always keep trying/hoping against all experience. It depends what 'not trying' means. I'd put down the Opks but its always a good idea to keep up the bd'ing.
But if you need a mental break from it all of course dh should respect that.
As an aside, I'm also doing some hypnosis and I find it good too. I'm just doing a recording to fall asleep to and I've never made it to the end! No idea what he says in the second half. And I have chronic problems sleeping so its been great. I think he says nice calming things once I'm asleep and I wake up feeling much better than I used to.0 -
So - scan update ladies.
Much better today! 7 good sized follies, with a 'few' smaller ones. I wasn't expecting much, so it was a nice surprise. They want to keep me on the injections for at least another 4 days, EC maybe Wednesday, but possibly Friday.
God.. getting scared now. It's so hard and scary to hope!
Told my boss about more time off, and he wasn't over impressed, but was ok with it. We have 42 hours of 'fertility leave' apparently, so I've started to record my time out officially using that code on the system.0 -
And once you've had the ET, you're entitled to antenatal time off, regardless of whether things work out or not. So if you're feeling wobbly or unwell in the 2ww your employer has to treat you as if you are pregnant (you're PUPO anyway) and give you appropriate time off."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

wow had my fs appt this am with my fs thats leaving. It looks like the best thing to do is go with her and be refered by my gp there. So looks like 4 more rounds of injections then either surgery or icsi.
If the nhs goes don't work then we would need to self fund which I can't see us being able to doand in terms of the bleeding thats been going on years I would need a hysteroctomey (sp) eek. Nothing has ever controlled the bleeding and obv that would put an end to ttc.

I have a spoilt rotten dog which my fella got us after I was feeling very down after our first icsi cycle, he's been an amazing moodlifter & I can't imagine being without him now
Good luck timetodeal, hope you have some brilliant follies for ec.

Hi, can I join you lovely ladies please? I was on the other board but we've been ttc for almost 2 years so it's time to stop kidding myself.
We've had good and bad news this week. My oh's sa has come back normal. However, I was at the GP with some stomach problems and I have a growth that she says could be ovarian cysts or fibroids. She freaked me out a bit when she said it was as big as a 16 week pregnancy!
I've consulted Dr Google (I know, I know...) and I don't seem to have any of the other symptoms - irregular periods, bad period pain, overweight etc so I'm pretty confused.
Has anyone else had any experience with this?
Any idea how long I might need to wait for an ultrasound? (I'm in Scotland)
Sorry for the long ramble.0 -

Thanks Rowingirl
I'm almost 29 and we have been doing the deed regularly for about 13 months with no success.
We have been pregnant before (10 years ago, which resulted in miscarriage) then only started trying again just over a year ago.
I have regular cycles, but AF only normally lasts 3 days, one day normal and the other days very light, is this normal?
Also, I have been using ovulation strips so have been dtd according to those.
What could be going on? I'm getting really worried now. What am I doing wrong?0
