Hi star - are you long or short protocol as that has a big impact on the cycle day you start on?0
-
Ouch for you Sewit! Sounds like choc and rest is best reward for that
Well, scan went good. Was quite dignified and over in a jiffy. All going to plan, so i start stimming tomorrow, eeek! And am booked in for mon 13th for next scan, possible egg collection on the 15th . Kinda excited now!
Stupid question, but does anyone know if I can ask to delay egg collection by one day? Mon and Weds are my days doing a specific job in work and my boss (who doesn't know what's going on) is already getting peed off by how much time I've been having off. And I plan to go off sick after egg transfer (fingers crossed) for a few days.
Oh, T2D I realised I'm on something called Merional not Menopur. Dunno if its same thing?

couldn't get Magenta to work, sorry T2D!0

What, in people's experience, is the average length of time between egg collection and transfer? I'm seeing 2-3 days on internet, but I'm sure some of you have waited five days in the past? Or am I just making that up? x0

WTDN - we really are on almost exactly the same dates. Except I'm stimming from tonight, but also looking at EC around the 15th.
I think you can move the EC day a little. I think the nurse was mumbling a bit last time, and said.. hmm.. Wed or Thurs, and I said Wednesday was better so they worked to that. Obviously you can't move it around too much, but I suspect one day is possible. Just let them know in advance to put the idea in their heads!
ET is more complex though. The time depends on the number of embryos. If there is a clear 'leader', or you only have 1 or 2 embryos, I think they put them back sooner rather than later. They only wait (AFAIK) if there are a number to choose from, and they want the best.
So, the longer the wait the better really - as it means you have more to choose from. I've never made it to ET though, so others can give more personal advice. I did find a great link about what happens on the various days - I'll see if I can find it again.0 -
Hi all,
Glad that some action has started for you T2D.
All the best for everyone starting their IVF/ICSI THIS JAN AND FEB.
Had my investigation scan today before my IVF appointment on 4 February.
Went well the sonographer told that my uterus is fine no problems two small cysts on right ovary which are very small so that's why they could not drain them in laparoscopy which I had on 26 November.
He also mentioned that he feels that every thing is good and most probably they may start my treatment in February. :j:j
I was a bit taken aback when a saw the male sonographer but he did a good job.:)Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -

It is relatively dignified really. The lady today was giving me the beginners introduction, about how it might be cold, and not the entire wand was inserted. Sometime later she asked me when I'd had one before, and I had to admit it was yesterday!
No major news, except she said the dreaded words 'do you know you have some free fluid?'. But apparently it's not inside but outside the uterus, and nothing to worry about. Gave me a fright though (with my habit of retaining blood).
Dignity was promptly removed when I then hopped down though. Quite a bit of blood about... ah well.0 -
WTDN, we had a 5 day transfer. EC was a monday and ET saturday.0

Hello all, sorry I haven't posted in a while, been trying to get my head around stuff.
Went to see FS today, who basically said there is nothing else they can do, I managed to get them to do one more blood to check if I'm ovulating and they offered me more Clomid, after that.. nothing.. No IVF, no nothing, apparently i'm to old for my trust to consider me for IVF (I turned 36 yesterday).
I know there is nothing you lovely ladies can do, I just needed to vent.0 -
Sewit it ouch, sounds painfull i hope your resting now?
Pickle so sorry to hear the clinic can't help beyond more clomid.0
