I am using hammersmith hospital and this is my first cycle done through NHS.

Hello ladies
So still no af for me, I've had a look at my app tracker and I'm either on day 23 or day 35 the reason for this is I had a small mid cycle bleed on dat 13 with lots of ewcm so I assumed this was just ov spotting as only lasted a day but now as I'm so late and not pg perhaps it wasn't ov and a very light period any thoughts or anyone experienced similar?

T2D - I am confused also by the whole if process. I thought it would be on cd21. I understand the thinking behind it but not the randomness of when to get it done! When is your et scheduled for, am I right thinking it's this next cycle?

Re acupuncture, I love it! Not 100% convinced it works but it really relaxes me and I love chatting to my acupuncturists. She specialises in if so it's like having someone who holds your hand through a scary time. She gets it without me having to explain everything.

The acupuncture lady at the Chiswick place I went to said Hammersmith is the best. I said I was at C&W and she said 'oh, that's a pity. It's still not impossible though.' :eek:

So far they have been good though, so no complaints. I've decided there are lies, damn lies and IVF statistics.

I'm doing another full Short protocol this month. I could just do an ET, but since the NHS is paying for this one I may as well do the whole schebang again. The frozen embies will have to stay in the freezer for the moment.

And I agree re acupuncture. I think even if it doesn't do much it's nice to have someone IRL to talk to who understands. But - in that case, don't pay a fortune for it!

Sorry - no idea. I used to have a rock solid cycle, but now it's all over the show. If you are getting a BFN then it's just a case of keep waiting. What is your normal cycle length?

eta: Was the bleeding after BD?

Sewit thanks, many months ago I did get some digi pg tests but think they will exp before there's any chance to use them. Dreading the convo with the fs re bfn, I'm also wonder if dh swimmers are to bad and that's why despite getting to ov we still don't have a bfp there was talk that if we need IVF it would need to be Icsi.

T2D - thank you for your messages.

So far it's been OK and I'm lucky in that I haven't really felt any different physically. Had a headache for three days when period started but I usually get a PMT headache anyway.

Me and OH have been having bad arguments though. I don't know whether its because we're a bit stressed by it all or what, but he is being a bit of a w*nker at the moment. Just snappy all the time.

Mentally... well I can't get my head round it. I think I'm in denial. And because of this I've been doing things I shouldn't be doing: drinking, eating carp, and not exercising one bit. And I feel guilty. This is one of two shots I get at IVF and I'm not giving it my all. As I say, I think I'm in denial. It's like I've blocked out what is going on in my head. I'm normally emotional about all this TTC but I feel numb.

Ho hum. I'll hopefully be stimming next week and I've promised myself to be good then.
