Daielley - I agree with the others, but great you realise that it's an issue that you need to sort out.

T2D - hope the mince pies were good.

PM - do they think that you ov? Great news that you managed to make it before fs went on holiday!

    Code - how you doing?

AFM - just waiting on af, cd27 and had spotting yesterday so pretty sure will start today. So at some point I'll be calling the clinic to book in my cycle. Eekk!

    Oooh how exciting. Fingers crossed.

I'm ok. Had to go into work today even though it was my day off because I stupidly left my makeup bag there on Friday. I went into the supermarket afterwards and it was crazy!! So now I'm home and should be tidying up and wrapping presents. I'm not really in the Christmas spirit this year - weird as I normally love Christmas, but this year I'm just feeling meh about it all. I think I'm just tired and fed up of 2013, so I might just sit on the couch, open the tin of quality street and have cuddles with the dog instead.

T2d, hope the mince pies were good. I'd ask you to save me some but I don't like them. I do however have a yule log. I'm the only person in the family who likes chocolate cake so it's all mine!! Nom nom nom. I hope you have a fabby time in Sweden for Christmas.

PM fingers crossed for otd!! I really hope this is it for you.

    Hello everyone

Good news today - Nuffield called to say that the CCG had approved funding so appointments on the way out. We only need to repeat the blood test (any time of month) and my husband needs a new sample test. No need to redo scans etc as NHS sent across all test results! So on tARGET for either end of Jan or Feb cycle depending on slots available!! :j

Sorry I can't remember who, but soneone has said they are on list and moving soon, you need to be careful don't move to a new CCG area as the funding may be different. Two roads away the houses are under a different CCG so get 2 attempts where as we only get 1.

I hope everyone has a lovely Xmas and an excellent new year!

well ladies, AF arrived at lunch (bright red, tmi I know but the nurse said they are only interested in red blood!) so I called the ACS unit and that is us all booked in!

T2D - I'm on the long protocol, so prostap injection on day 21 (13th Jan) to DR, baseline scan on 27th Jan, presume will start stimms the day after. I've got low AMH (4) so on the strongest meds, which is 375 twice a day of Gonal F and Luveris for a few days, then drop to 300 Gonal F x 2 + Luveris for the rest of the time I'm on the stimms. I'm also getting the scratch done, on what will be day 12.

PM - great they think you ov'd. The 2ww is really tricky, I feel for you. I think it is not really any sign, as some people get it with their BFP and some with their BFN, but totally understand the SS - its so hard not too.

Star - great news from the Nuffield in time for Christmas!

Code - hugs to you for wanting to cuddle up and forget about the festive season. Doesn't help with the rubbish weather either, its only 2.30 and its sooo dark here.

I'm actually feeling a little excited about Christmas, (maybe cause its all happening now, maybe cause I love Christmas). I usually get very moody and down around AF, but have been ok this time. Even now I can feel myself getting excited about this cycle, but I must stop that. Hope and excitement have brought me nothing but pain so far, so while I want to be positive, I don't want to get excited. Stop me if I get carried away ladies!!

One of the few good things about not expecting a miracle BFP is that I can sample the flavoured vodka I'm giving as gifts this year.

Strawberry and cream vodka = good,
    pineapple chunk vodka = good,
cola cube vodka = less good but I've bunged a few more in there and bunged it in the dishwasher to help it along a bit,
    pear drop vodka=good
candy cane vodka = sounds like it should be disgusting, looks like pepto bismol but tastes totally awesome.
