    Hi all

Just wanted to check in and say I'm still lurking and reading your thread but don't feel I've got much to add at the moment.

We're now 13 months TTC #1 and have both got tests coming up - I've got day 21 bloods on Monday (actually day 22 but path lab not open on a Sunday) and hubby has the forms for his SA - just need to convince him to book it. He seemed up for it to begin with but seems to be trying to find reasons not to do it now - maybe I'm imagining it and working myself up.

So we're in a bit of limbo really - it's frustrating place.

Have got loads going on my personal life too - Dad's currently in a hospice (for a bit of rehab despite being terminally ill) so we're at the hospice every day after work. Difficult to manage to find the time and enthusiasm to BD when things are challenging.

Massive congrats to Derby - what wonderful news! :j

    Love to all

Thank you for all the lovely replies. I think she has had people telling her that it will all work out and while I obviously hope it does I am forever practical and I am aware that saying that doesn't really help much. I thought if I could get more of a grasp on things on here I wont have to bother her with questions.

I really feel for all of you who are going through this. I do have a child and I am so glad that things were straightforward for us. I had awful problems with my cycles when I was younger and I always worried that I would have trouble starting a family.

I think that it's all too easy sometimes to take things for granted. I would like another child soon but if it doesn't happen I will just be thankful for the daughter I have.

Best wishes to all of you.

Thanks for the welcome SewIt. We've asked about the waiting list but it just seems to be exceptionally long in our area. I stopped charting properly because the disappointment was getting too much. I do have a reasonable grasp of my cycles though and they are pretty much regular as clockwork. I feel I should do some more research into the next steps and this thread is an absolute mine of information so thank you to all of you for sharing your experiences.

Sorry I missed your post, welcome to you.
  • Thank you for all the lovely supportive posts, means a lot.

They did do the transfer today after scanning abdomen to confirm there was no fluid in there. They concluded it must be a bug or something. Still feeling very carp but hoping an early night and good nights sleep will help.

We lost another embie overnight which left two and they are going to call tomorrow to let us know if the last one is suitable for freezing.

Obviously I hope so but the clinic have already made it clear that if you only have one or two frozen they like you to repeat the whole process again anyway so doesn't make too much difference to us in terms of not having to go through it all again if this doesn't work.

I've just caught up. Code I feel your pain re work. I had a phone call today about something really unimportant despite having explained how poorly I was. Its ridiculous isn't it? I hope you manage to get a break.

PM that is great news about your lining not being lost.

Loveactually my FSH was 9 I think and our clinic don't test for AMH either so maybe yours won't. I've no idea what number is judged good or bad with AMH though.

Sewit did your DH tell them without you knowing? My mother has told one or two people (that don't even know us) against our wishes and she can't see the problem. I understand what you mean about it being 'out there' - just feels strange.

    T2D glad you're feeling better.

Rowin do you have a date for review yet? (sorry if I missed it)

    Skint_Catt when is your retest?

Derby has it sunk in yet? :p

Angeltreats congrats on your 4 mile run, that's amazing. I wish I had got in better shape before I started as it's a pain not being able to do much exercise once you start.

Purcy, its crazy how real dreams seem sometimes. Not surprised you were shaken up.

    :hello:Gelly, Isla_red and MrsSippi.

Hugs to all, off to bed xxxxx

Welcome island_red. I'll add you to the front page if you like, just do a little summary.

I'm home safe and sound after long day at the hospital.why do they make me come in so early when I'm not even on the list til about 2pm! But went well. Bit sore tonight and feeling the anaesthetic still. It seems a bit heavier than normal. But off for a few days, so will try to relax tomorrow.
  • Derby Huge congrats! Enjoy it. :) Did I miss the photo p0rn? ;)

T2D Glad you're back and everything went well. Have a relaxing few days and recover.

WW fingers crossed for you, your embie and the one that's still cooking. :) Hope you start to feel better soon.

The clinic rang this morning and had to reshedule our review appointment to 17 December.
