    Thanks for the congratulations!

My AMH was 3.6 a year ago (goodness knows what it is now) and my FSH was fairly normalish at under 10. I had an AFC to check for funding and they found 9 which meant they would proceed and I was deemed to have a chance!

Thanks for the reply Derby my AMH is 7 ( me too no idea what that number means) but the FS mentioned it us lower than expected in women of my age I m 33 by the way. My FSH was also under 10 I think.

Fingers crossed for the IVF referral to work.

How Long did it take for your treatment to start after your first appointment ?

MrsSippi - it's so nice of you to try to find out about your friend's condition rather than the usual stock response of "just relax" or "why don't you just adopt?".

Part Mouse, hope the increased dose helps. We need tea to come back and do her release the egg dance. In the meantime this will have to do.

Getting a bit nervous about our appointment now.

WW - how are you feeling now? Hopefully better? If they need to cancel your ET then please remember that it is for the best, hard as it will be to hear. They will only do that if they think there is a reduced chance of it working and you wouldn't want that. I think there are some interesting studies about good success rates with FET so don't lose heart if they do need to cancel.

Loveactually - There are lots of different opinions on FSH/AMH. Some clinics don't test for FSH (mine doesn't) and some don't do AMH (I think someone said the Hewitt had stopped using AMH). My AMH is 4, which is a little low for my age (34 at the time). I got put on a high dose of drugs and got 8 eggs, so don't worry too much about it. Just look at Derby, 3 eggs and 1 embie which stuck, that is all you need!

MrsSippi - lovely you want to help your friend. Be informed but also be supportive. Sometimes I just want my friends to text me to see if I'm ok cause I need to be reminded that people care for me and also that there is more to life than infertility. Also I need people not to try and fix and things or be really positive all the time, sometimes I just want someone to say 'this really sucks and its crap. I'm sorry you are going through this.' Your friend will appreciate that too I'm sure.

PM - yeah for lining but boo for follies. If they are increasing the dose, do they still hope you'll ov before FS goes on holiday? hugs honey x

Derby - did you call the clinic, bet that was a great call to make! x

RG - how are you, do you have a date for your follow up appointment yet?

T2D - any date for your op yet? How you feeling otherwise?

Is anyone in touch with Tea, have we lost her completely? Hope not Tea, we miss you!

    Angel, how you?

code - when is your appointment? Is this your first one with the FS?

AFM - called the clinic to find out about how to get the scratch done and somehow ended up being booked in for treatment for next cycle and have an appointment for baseline scan on 27th Jan! Just to call up when AF arrives next. So a bit shocked but did find out that we'd need to pay for scratch and arrange that privately. Still need to sort that.

Had a nice time at the wedding, but turns out that all of DHs friends seem to know we are struggling to start a family. I found this quite unsettling for some reason that I can't quite pin point. One of DH's friends said something to him (in a very supportive way). Maybe its just cause I can't pretend any more? I feel like such a failure sometimes and that is hard to admit/share with others.

just an AMH test as far as I am aware PM. There are no symptoms as such as there is nothing wrong with the eggs, just means there are not as many of them as they would expect. Really hope the increased dose works for you PM. xx

Also, welcome Isla_Red. Don't worry about charting etc. My FS actively discouraged it for me it as they think it adds an extra pressure. Saying that I have unexplained IF and seem to ov regularly so I'm sure its different for others. Hope you get to the top of the list quickly. Always worth a call to see how the list is going as 2 years is a long time. x
