Hey we will be scan buddies on Monday PM
I know how hard it is not to worry. Is the bleeding less heavy than last time though? Hoping it eases for you soon and your scan shows some positive news. At least this crappy week is over. Hugs back at you.

T2D.. My uterus is yours anytime you want it
No news here. Adoption is officially on hold until January, when we'll review. I know everyone here is having a hard time lately, so I just want to remind everyone .. Don't put things on hold while you're waiting for your children. Travel, go for the promotion, get your dream job. Don't settle. Life is too bloody short. (& no, no-one has died!)
Hugs everyone xxWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Fluff, co-codamol is the drug used for pregnant ladies who suffer badly from SPD as it was then called. Under appropriate medical supervision, it is OK in pregnancy, though obviously not a good idea to self medicate with it. Women who need it during pregnancy are usually offered extra scans and consultant led care to make sure the baby is OK.
Tea is an intelligent women, who works in a healthcare industry herself and has already had this conversation with her doctors. She has disclosed enough of her medical issues on here to know that she isn't taking this drug for fun but for good medical reasons for her. Whilst I'm sure you mean well, if I were Tea I would have found your posts highly upsetting, and yes as you raise it "overstepping the mark" in terms of what is acceptable or helpful.0 -
What a crappy week in here!!
Rowin, I am so sorry it didn't work. Huge hugs.
WW, I am also sorry your follies are not coming on.
PM, sorry about the bleeding.
Tea, I'm another co-codamol girl, although I totally applaud you for managing to stay awake on it. I take it and I'm out like a light. I've got the whole gauntlet of drugs from otc painkillers, to the mid range diclofenac and to the really scary tramadol (also knocks me out) - everytime I'm in pain I need to make a decision based on how bad I think it might get and what I should take - if I take the paracetamol then I can't have the co-codamol and if I take the co-codamol, I can't have the tramadol and so on and am also on amitryptiline for my nerve pain. I asked the GP what this would mean for TTC and she said that we'll review the meds when the time comes and not to worry about it. On the slowing down thing - you can buy psyllium husks (or something like that) in Holland and Barratt - they're fibre capsules that should help. I've got IBS and things in that area are either backed up or the other extreme, so I sympathise.
T2deal - I'd offer you my uterus - its nearly new, spacious and ideally located between a wide pelvis and childbearing hips. Sadly, it's overrun with tumbleweed at the moment and it'd probably affect my NHS funding.
Afm nothing doing. Met my ex-sil for dinner tonight - and I fell off the wagon. Had a massive cheeseburger and chips. I honestly couldn't face another egg! We also had a chat about the whole infertility thing - it was nice to talk about it with someone irl, who doesn't just cut me dead like DH does if I try to talk about "feelings".Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Code falling off the wagon sometimes is good for the soul, were only human and need a break.
Ww good to have a scan buddy, hoping your follies grow its so disappointing when they don't isn't it.
Onestep I hope your plans progress well in the next few months.
It's a week tommorow the bleeding started to braising myself there's not a lot left on mon.0 -
Well I'm just in from the world's biggst curry. Take THAT bmi.
I do hope everyone can have a relaxing weekend to get over this carppy week xxxx35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July0 -
Hey all
So I'm booked in for IVF, downregging tostart 15/12 thanks t2d
Fluff - I'm sure you only had tea's best interest at heart. I think better for for us all to share info we know than not say anything at all, even if it might offend. We all want successful pregnancies for ourselves and each other. I would deffo want someone to share info with me and I wouldn't expect them to know/remember my whole back history.
I think we're all made of pretty tough stuff because of all this!
This is a lovely supportive place and I hope both tea and fluff are ok and don't feel they can't post and speak their minds xxx0 -
Morning everyone.
How long have you been stimming ww? I think once they start to grow, they grow pretty fast so that might be why they aren't increasing it. Grrr to the lack of info.. I was talking to the scanning lady about this and her take on it was that it was my body so she thought it was right I get told all the details.
Hugs to those who need it. I had a massive messy cry yesterday but pretended I was crying to Dr Who lol! Feel much better for it. Think I'm coming down with a cold though...boo hiss
Hugs to eve0 -
Morning all, I come bearing :grouphug: and :bdaycake:, I'm sure I can find some salad or something for those watching their weight!
We're still wandering in limbo land, we've got to put off using the provera to make sure it wasnt some kind of AF a few weeks ago, if it wasnt its use the Provera and dash about for all the different tests!
Not that it makes much difference, no sex for a week after having a Colposcopy yesterday, though it showed no abnormal cells this time for which I am grateful.
I'm still at the mercy of my thyroid it seems!0
