Code - please don't cry, I was not weighed at appointment with fs or at ivf clinic. In any event I am sure your weight will not stop further steps. I would agree with TL that they will probably still want to do hsg as even with the SA results they will need to make sure that all is ok.

You guys are right. No point in worrying about things I can't change. Tomorrow I'm on day 4 of my diet and then I'll switch onto the carb addicts one on Monday. And if I don't lose enough weight, then I don't lose enough weight. I have to say though, as restrictive as this diet is, I'm quite enjoying the dinners. I always think I don't like veggies and then don't eat them, but I'm starting to really enjoy it.

I did wonder about the tests because from what I've read about what's going on with DH's sperm count, our only real hope is going to be ICSI, so what does it matter if my tubes work? And without sperm, all the clomid in the world will make heehaw difference. But I guess they'll want to do blood hormone tests on DH so we know what we're dealing with. I'm guessing that it wont be a case of "hello, we have no sperm or eggs, please give us our BFP immediately". I guess I'm a bit worried because they changed the rules here in June to shorten the waiting lists so from having 3 cycles, we now only get two and they wont add you to the waiting list if your BMI is over 30 which is why I'm having a wee panic. Also what happens if it fails? Do you go back to the bottom of the waiting list or can you try again as soon as you're ready?

It would be so much easier if everywhere was the same so you could say: This happens, then they do this, then they try this, then this happens and then you get your baby.

That would certainly help. Curses that the one man I meet who wants to marry me and isn't a psychopath, sociopath, serial cheat or a total peepeehead, is a jaffa. He's probably saying the same thing about me though. We're a matched pair.

How are things tonight tea? Either of you cracked yet?

So far today I've eaten 3 eggs, 1 grapefruit and 2 tomatoes. Dinner tonight is lamb chops, cabbage and celery. Thanks to some open sweets, our kitchen smells like marshmallow and I swear the jar of Nutella is calling my name. Am 4lbs down since I started this diet on Monday - still have 6-7lbs to go.

    Well done code!

Good attitude re your weight code. You can only do what's possible.

Tea, chips is always a good ice breaker!

PM, hope the evening is OK. I know things are going well right now, but I've had many many a bad day before so I'm trying to take the positives where I can. I'm totally obsessed with googling, I hope work don't check my browser history! I've been worrying about eggs and fertilisation and age problems... But what will be will be.

Off to bed now, although joey on celebrity had just admitted he had never learned to blow his nose! Stop me from watching this rubbish girls. I am getting stupider by the second.

Have to be at the clinic by 7am tomorrow!

Stop watching that nonsense! You are an intelligent woman and better than that*. Now go to bed and sleep well so that your eggs get all rested and fresh and have superpowers.

T2d that's why I'm so pleased things are going well for you, you've really been through it so you really deserve the good times.

Wtdn thanks, I hoped this cycle would be different but my body is pretty predicable.

Heading off to bed now, night all.
