Men are totally rubbish, I should have married a woman lol.
Code would love a break,we never had a honeymoon, Coe to think of it we've never had a holiday. No rest for me, to lots to sort out with my mum.think this cycle has gone to pot.i don't see these injections being cues soul either.0 -
DH knows that if it comes to it he will come with me. He was sort of joking... sort of... And I think he really does like it, he's a football journalist! I have to admit I quite enjoy it too though. Not very girly of me..
Anyway, we are doing well at the moment so I'm not looking for anything to argue about. I think hormones next week may be different, but for the moment things are on a nice even keel so I'm making the most of it. We even managed to agree and book a trip away for Christmas. Off to Sweden which will be fantastic!
PM - I completely agree I need a wife! In my work it's all men with women who organise their lives at home!
TL Thinking of you and hope you are doing ok.0 -
T2d very jealous, sounds fab.0

We didn't have a honeymoon either. Well to be exact we took his family home after the wedding and had a nights stop over there before coming home. So had a kind of night away.
Defintely could scoff some naughty stuff, hubby seems to have scoffed a box of mince pies tonight. Instead I was good in the end, and then decided to sign up for the gym. At least if they say next week that I'm too heavy I can prove I am at the very least trying to do something about it.
Think mine works out at about 3 stone I have to lose, so don't think we will be getting anywhere any time soon.
Little bit confused, hubby said that the woman that was there when he did his SA yesterday reckoned they don't get many men having SA there at the hospital. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
Wow Time very jealousRemember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
T2D your hols sound amazing! I will happily be your wife and come with you
OH and I still haven't spoken since his tantrum on Monday night. I thought he'd be out last night but we were both in from about 5.30pm and didn't say a word to each other. He slept in the spare room again and was still upstairs when I left.
Tbh (and I realise this sounds awful) I could quite happily carry on like that for the time being but we have a flaming FS appt tomorrow afternoon. We have to see Professor Embryoscope for some reason. So will have to speak to him this evening which is really p'ing me off.0 -
Tea what a tricky situation for you, I hope oh appologises and your fs appt goes ok.0
-
TL - good to hear from you at least. Remember you can be the bigger person and lord it over him later about how good you are! Offer an olive branch, the appointment is more important.
Holiday will be lovely. My brother lives in Sweden, and we are going to his girlfriend (of 10 years) family in the country. White Christmas, massive amounts of pickled herring, warm fires and walks in the snow. I've wanted to go for years, so its great!
Last shot done last night, so I'm fully primed and ready to go. Blast of nausea this morning, very sensitive nips, and odd twingy pain the right area - so all perfect really! And forgot to bring my wallet to work, so forgetfulness is back too. I shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised...0 -
T2d its wonderful how quickly things have moved on for you.0

T2D, very best of luck with the next step (and all of it of course, but I find if you think about more than just the next bit of IVF your head explodes).
RG, hope you're doing ok and having a nice relaxDo you think you'll test tomorrow or hang on till the weekend still? I totally get wanting to wait longer, I even made the hospital put back OTD a few days as I just didn't want to know lol.
PM, thinking of you and your mum. Hope she's doing ok x.
Code, hope all's ok with the OH. I'm sure they're more trouble than they're worth!
Vesper, good luck at the gym, am very impressed with everyone's self-control. I could easily eat my own body weight in crisps at the moment (and that is in fact my plan for this evening).
Am bracing myself for another fun evening of nobody speaking (well, only to the cat). We've got this appt tomorrow though so am going to have to say something. Plus we've got new carpet coming on saturday and we really need to make a start on emptying the lounge to get ready for it.0 -
TL - I normally try watching something discuss'able on the TV to get conversation started. Like commenting on the rubbish being cooked on master chef, or the idiots on I'm a celebrity. Nothing like realising joey Essex can't read the time (!!!!!!!!) to create something easy to talk about. Breaks the ice in a less tense way.
Much work today as in off for the rest of the week.0
