Injections ok thank you Derby & Sewit, just getting impatient now. Next scan on Wednesday so hoping for some news. I certainly don't feel any different since I started stimming so not sure if that is an indicator? They've started me on such a low dose (understandably so) that it'll most likely take ages to do anything. :(

It's weird, I was utterly convinced before I started this that the physical side effects would be the part I struggled to cope with most. When they first mentioned counselling I thought 'pah?!' so shocked at how I feel now.

I didn't feel much this time. Not sure if I did last time either, but then it was wrapped in a whole lot of other things too.

It's only today the bloating is really kicking in. My fat trousers are starting to feel slightly constricted. And only a few weeks ago I couldn't really wear them as they were falling off!

Derby - also keen to hear if your frostie has made it. Would be great to get one in reserve. :)

Please let me know in magenta if you want a change on the list. I've been a little self-absorbed so haven't updated it, so please let me know.

Vesper - has the AF pain eased off?

Just to add. I think hydration hydration hydration is key to keeping menopur symptoms down. Not just avoiding dehydration but actively drinking all the time. If I don't I quite quickly get headaches but lots of water or well diluted cordial really helps. I normally drink plenty of water, but I have to remember to drink even more.

Most of the drinking shouldn't be wine of course. ;)

OH had just majorly kicked off. He was looking for an instruction book, which are all kept in a drawer in the spare room. I kept telling him where it was (there's only one drawer in there) but he couldn't find it and went mad. He was looking in the wrong room for a start (I didn't realise that as was in bed). He was screaming and shouting, kicking stuff, slamming doors. Really scared the cat :( Have told him he's in the spare room tonight and tomorrow I'll help him pack his things. He just carried on screaming about what an effing r***** I am.

You OK tea? Men have crazy moments - its not as clearly identifiable but I swear they have a hormonal cycle too! Don't make life changing decisions based on a late night argument born of frustration. Hugs

Oh no Tea, hope you're ok (what a stupid thing to say, of course you're not). I agree with T2D, don't make a decision based on a late night slanging match when you were probably both exhausted.

    Rowingirl any news?

Partmouse how are you? And how is your mum?

    Hugs all round :)

I've seen a ceilidh advertised for the end of January but am questioning whether I should book a ticket or not. I'll be stimming in January and hopefully will have an egg implanted. What would you do?

Book the ticket, go and enjoy yourself. You can't put your life on hold for fertility treatment - we all do it I know but we shouldn't. Even if you're in the 2ww or perhaps pregnant :) a ceilidh won't hurt.

PM glad your Mum's through the worst, although obviously still an anxious time for you. I hope you all feel better really soon.

Tea sorry to hear you had a rough night :( Hope things are more settled now. Hugs.

On my phoneso struggling to keep up with everyone but a massive great FINGERS CROSSED for all of you with embies on board :D

Afm, nowt of note to report. Pre-op assessment on the 20th Dec (how festive!) Then lap&dye in late Jan (general anaesthetic, eek). Just waiting for cd01 to kick in, had very light spotting for a few days as per my normal pattern. BORED NOW. Don't want to wish my life awaybut all this waiting and no action is so frustrating.
35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July :'(

Floaty i hope all goes well.its horrid waiting for things to happen.think our next route would be lap and dye and od.

Afm bleedings getting much worse so dont think the injections will stop the bleeding.
