Floaty - don't stress about the GA. I know we joke about it a bit here, but really I think GA's have come a long way. Years ago they were much heavier, but I get the feeling now they can adjust how deep you need to be depending on the procedure.

Happy to give advice closer to the time. I like to maintain a steady rate of 1 GA every 2-3 months. ;)

Vesper - has the AF pain eased off?

Yes thank you very much it finally has. Had really nasty heavy periods the last couple of months.

Oh hugs tealover. I've come to the conclusion that men definitely have hormonal attacks too. My OH text me the day after we had gone to see my doctor about referring us, and said that was it and had packed his stuff and gone. He came back in the end after realising its a waste of time running away from the problems, as they don't go away. He tends to have these weird, non sensible quirks every couple of years, that come out of the blue. Men are weird, full stop.

Nothing to report here. All boring.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Please let me know in magenta if you want a change on the list. I've been a little self-absorbed so haven't updated it, so please let me know.

    Please can I be updated?

Can I be moved from the 'Ovulation Induction' bit to 'Awaiting FS or other appointment' bit.
At the mo, it's CD1 after our last (7th) round of Clomid but in good news, I gently prodded our clinic, found there'd been a bit of a fiasco with paperwork and funding and the short story is we have our first appointment with the chief consultant on 18th December :j The funding manager and receptionist on the phone said we were looking at January for IVF but I think we won't get our hopes up just yet, anytime in the New Year or Spring will be fine with us.

And can you update my bio please?

FrozenPenguin TTC#1 since Dec 2011. Me 30, DH 35, Me: mild PCOS, irregular cycles and irregular ovulation. Had Day 3/Day 21 tests, Ultrasound, HSG, 7 rounds of Clomid. DH: low SA in all 3 areas (count, morphology and motility) and a varicocele. Next step: meeting with the Consultant on 18th December

    Many thanks time2deal :A

Also, derby2 - yay for being PUPO! Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that it's a sticky one :T xx
  • Hope your OH calmed down & apologised this morning tea.

    Hugs PM

Still bleeding (although less than yesterday) so extra progesterone appears to be working. Spoke to my FS who told me to keep resting and taking extra progesterone and to not worry as bleeding isn't always a sign of impending doom. No testing before Thursday (sorry Fluff). I'm trying to stay calm at the moment and will spend the next couple of days at home.

Ha! I can't remember him ever apologising for anything!

Didn't see him this morning and expect he'll be late home this evening. Have done some research into buying him out of the house.

Hope the relaxing is doing the trick. A few days at home with your feet up sounds like a good plan x.

Hope you are ok TL. Just give yourself a bit of time. Your relationship sounds a lot like mine, and my DH has a 'flying of the handle' habit about stupid things like that too. And when it happens I get angry and start planning how to leave, but I do get over it, and realise it's not that important. Hope things sort out for you too.

In the last few years his temper tantrums have reduced considerably, maybe it's age, maybe it's because I wouldn't put up with it -who knows - but things can change.

Hope you're ok TL. It must be national men are idiots day. 2 weeks ago DH interviewed for a new job within the same company. All I've heard for months is how he hates his old job and he's miserable and he's been applying for every job going. About 30 minutes ago he got a call saying he got the job and he called them back. Then I heard him tell the recruitment person that he's not willing to accept the job without talking to his manager. He said to me after he hung up that it's because the money wasn't as good as he thought - but it's still a decent payrise, so now he's gone back into work to talk to his manager and they'll talk him out of it because they'll have to recruit someone else and he'll be stuck in the same dead end job and tbh I'm getting a bit resentful of carrying all the bills. And there's no point taking to him about it because god forbid I ask him to talk about anything heavy. I just get ignored. And although it's not related, I've been making, ahem, overtures for the last couple of weeks and getting nowhere. Not so much as a kiss except for a perfunctory kiss goodbye and even then I have to ask for it.

I'm fed up and he's bleedin lucky nobody else is showing an interest, otherwise I'd be tempted. Starting to think maybe there's a reason we can't have a baby.

Ok, he just accepted it. But the rest of my complaints still stand.

Ah big hugs tealover and code can't men be a PITA sometimes! Congrats on your DH getting the job though code x

Big hugs PM hope your mum feels better soon x

AFM my doctors appointment got off to a bad start when the woman who is supposed to be my surgeries gynecology "expert" asked me whether I used OPK's and then said "oh, I was just curious as I don't really believe those things work" Seriously what the hell!

She then pointed out (as if I didn't know) that I'm in a difficult position and she can't refer me as I'm not infertile and I've only had 2 mc. At that point the tears were welling up but then she must have taken pity on me as I got loads of stuff!

Firstly she did an internal exam (what a great way start your day eh) and took some swabs and I can get those results Friday.
She's giving me CD21 blood tests (or whenever it happens to be) which I'm really pleased about and also sending me for an ultrasound at the hospital which I should hear about in a few weeks!

I'm so pleased that something is happening it really made my day!

    hugs to all

Good news! Got to love our lives now where an internal exam is a wonderful progressive day!

Lovely to have some activity though, isn't it funny how close the years are to the surface when you start to talk about everything. Hugs
