I survived the hen do actually had a great time!
Love your bumps everyone!
Becca yours is really cute & TL you look great! Faerie very sweet!
Squirrel I'm the same as you huge in the evening but smaller in the morning but google shows a huge range of sizes at this stage some smaller than me but I do worry about it too.
Mind you I told DH and he was like are you joking your stomach looks massive! And was trying to like roll it like jelly the cheeky so & so!
Will post a pic if I can work out how on my phone.0 -
are hot flush type things common ? I was in Costco today and whilst at the till waiting I had to run off to the loo to sit down and then splash water on my face, I had started to burn up and was feeling hot and sick.
I hadn't ate yet though so don't know if that was the cause.
On the plus side, I have bought my neices/nephews Christmas so that's one less worry and expense for us0 -
I definitely feel hotter than usual Con. And it's a sickness trigger if it gets too hot.0

Just watching my bit fat gypsy christening and I can tell you it is more of a guide on things I will not be doing! As opposed to the books you ladies are reading
Such as not:
Piercing my babies ears at 6 weeks
Dressing them up in some awful sparkly garb
Diamant! dummies
Finding breast feeding disgusting (love to know what travellers did before formula was invented???)
Can't wait for Homeland later!
Managed to eat a baked potato for lunch today, first potato in 10 weeks yay!0 -
Loving the bump pic girls!
Great to see some more graduates from the LT12 weeks forum too
Thanks for reminder about Big Fat Gypsy Christening Claire, my guilty pleasure
So jealous of you Rummer, we only have a shower and I would just love the chance for a long soak in the bath at the moment.
Well my sickness has just started to settle now, but hormones totally taking over instead with a very tearful morning (can't even remember why!). OH was very sweet about it this morning but didn't really know how to handle it other then laugh. I'm looking forward to just feeling like me again really instead of a hormonal mess lol0 -
Oooh im jealous of Rummer too having a lovely bubble bath - we do have a bath but we are in dire need of getting it fixed as its all a bit leaky so darent use it at the moment. We will be getting it sorted before baby comes along!! Anyway its probably a good thing that I am not having baths as I like to have them absolutely roasting which obviously isnt a good idea right now!!
Must take another picture of bump - as I may see a difference if I see it on a picture. Personally I totally think its bigger, but my mum keeps telling me I dont look pregnant! I think shes trying to be nice, but its not what I want to hear!!!!0 -

I have a cold
Uuuurgh
Welcome to the thread twigpigI really, really want a new travel system but want is not get
and there's simply no spare cash for one. As long as the old one's still in good condition in the loft it'll last us fine for six months.
Glad you enjoyed the hen-do Claire
Books I like:
First Time Parent by Lucy Atkins - I really like this book, its honest and doesn't preach, nice and practical
The Baby Owner's Manual by Louis Borgenicht - DH enjoyed this, its like a car manual for baby!
Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Marc Weissbluth - This is a really hard book to read but saved my sanity when DS wasn't sleeping as it showed me that he was perfectly normal. Lots of research/study's on sleep but you may need to overlook the writers rather extreme view that baby's should be left to cry themselves out, even if they throw up!
Baby-led Weaning by Gill Rapley - loved this
The No-Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley - Although my friends like this book I couldn't get on with it. It made me feel better about attachment parenting but also guilty that I let DS cry sometimes.
The Diaper Free Baby by Christine Gross-Loh - really interesting to read and it made me think.
Anyhoo, I hope this is useful to someoneborrow books from the library first if you can to be extra mse at first
I would love to go and sit in a bath but we've only got a shower here tooCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
