OH is desperate for this! :rotfl: He's such a geek, but I have to admit to secretly loving all the stupidly geeky babywear, at least our baby won't look like every other kid in town!
lol - that's awesome
DD1 had a little newborn vest I bought that read 'Former zygote'. And a black t-shirt with yellow star-wars style lettering that read 'Apprentice' that I found on a FB selling group.Mortgage when started: £330,995

Its just that I was reading Emma's diary the other night and noticed their page about weaning gives the impression that the only way to wean is mush.
I've actually contacted them to say how disappointed I was that their information is so limited - if you can't tell I'm very pro BLW
We used the mush approach to weaning with our first as to be honest we thought that was the way you did things. I have been reading a lot about BLW and a number of my friends have used this approach and raved about it so I think that is the way we will go this time.
There is a great site about it that has a welcoming forum linked to it that covers not just feeding but lots of baby care areas.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Oh! I also have a maternity t-shirt somewhere with a loading bar, and one which has some http text for a baby over the bump area
Must find them out...Mortgage when started: £330,995

Hi Ladies
20 weeks today yay!
I have had the day from hell at work today so glad to be home. This morning, I pop my sandals one (feet are really hot at the mo!) and went to work, thought they felt abit tight but didn't think anything of it until I was in work and had to take them off.....my feet have blown right up, very swollen, they look awful.
Please tell me swollen feet are a pregnancy symptom? I now have them up on cushions on the sofa.
Ive not read much about baby once it is here......will have to have a look at baby led weaning etc. Im more of a go with the flow type person....but I also like routine, will have to find a happy medium.

20 weeks today, 1 week to scan!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
Mrs bunny I posted something similar about my feet this week
you're not alone!
I hate the new thread title too!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I don't like it either. Maybe we should start our own thread too like the other two did!
I'm finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight, I lost 5lbs with the sickness in about weeks 6-8 and it's taken me until this morning so 7 weeks later to finally put it back on! Which I guess isn't surprising really considering its hard enough keeping food down let alone gaining weight!
I love the sound of blw.0 -
Can someone add my Due date in please ? 29th March0

I really need to get a good book on how to look after the baby, otherwise I'll have a freak out when they say we can take the baby home and I'll wonder what on earth I'm meant to do now!
I feel like the baby is about to explode out of me! The last few days it really feels like the baby has gotten bigger and doesn't fit that low in my pelvis any more. I've been waddling when I walk which seems really weird when I'm only four months gone.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Morning all
Sjlou - thanks for adding me to the list
Can I ask you ladies a question? My next midwife appointment is on 24/10 but I'll be 15 weeks then rather than 16 now I've had my scan. Should I push this back a week or just go along as normal? Sorry if its a daft question I'm a first timer. Also do you keep taking the same vitamins when you reach the 12 week mark?
Thanks in advance!0
