Morning ladies.....lovely bright sunny day here with a touch of frost on the ground! I love autumn, favourite time of year
Happy to say I have been sleeping through the last few nights, but once I wake up, im up! need the toilet and then cant get back to sleep. As I wake up around 7, its ok to stay up, unlike last week when I was waking up around 3-4am! I do wake up in pain though, terrible hip and back pain. I have a long pregnancy pillow and use that (so much better and comfy!) but still wake up with aches and pains, I suppose its just one of those things! :rotfl:
My swollen feet have gone down today, spent Friday night and most of yesterday with my feet up. Made DH drive my car to pick up an ebay item we won, goodness me, he moaned the whole time we were in my car! He has an Mazda mx5 convertible, I have a punto, his is automatic, mine manual (he has drove manual cars for the last 15 years until he got this automatic). He moaned about the gear stick, he moaned about the speed (my car is abit slow to get going for a new car!) he moaned about weekend drivers, he moaned that we had to travel on the motorway.....again I could of swiped him one!! :rotfl: then I reminded him that when I go into labour, he has to take the punto.....his face dropped!! He was going to take me in his MX5 but he failed to realised that there would be 2 of us going, but 3 of us coming back!!!! Did say that he could take me in his car but he is coming back for the punto so might as well take my car in the first place! Men!!!
Well its food shopping day today, I wish aldi do internet shopping but then again, prices wouldn't be as low as they are if they did! really can not be bothered to go but as we have no food in, I better go!
My bump is coming along nicely. All front, neat little ball. Baby has filled out my 'spare' tyre of fat so I think I look more 6 months pregnant than 20 weeks. It dawned on me the other day that I need to get things sorted. Touch wood I go full term but you just never know what will happen over the next few months and I am really scared now that baby will come earlier, ie this year, rather than 2014. Im trying not to think about it but it really scared me.
Looking forward to my scan on Friday, then I will be going wrong my parents for a Chinese and also my mums friend to look at nursery furniture she said we can have if we want itRoll on Friday!

Popping on to suggest a book.
The Babycare Bible by Dr Waterston.
I bought it off amazon after someone on here recommending it.
Only starting reading it this week (at 37 weeks) and it does seem to have plenty of guidance/ reference information.
Most of the information could probably be found on forums/websites etc but it's easy to pick up & read in small or large chunks.

Pops head in can I join in please? x0

Hey ladies. Officially moving over after our scan on Friday. Could you add me to the list for 14th April (wasn't sure if one person updates it, or you just re-post yourself so shout if I should just re-post).
Lannieduck and smlsave- my little boy will be 2 and 3 months when this one arrives too. I'm not sure what will be on our 'to buy' list this time seeing as we already have a lot. Might start making a list soon. We'll be team yellow again and this helped last time as most early stuff was very neutral so can happily use again.
Boss is on leave at work so can't tell her for another week so won't tell anyone at work just yet.
Hope everyone is having a nice lazy Sunday. We're heading to the inlaws soon for lunch. Means I do have to cook or wash up.

Without prompting my hubby did comment that my bump was looking a little bit bigger yesterday so that made me feel better!! Like some other people have mentioned, it does seem to get bigger in the evening - when I wake up its pretty much non-existent and by about 10pm, I'm like where the hell did this come from? I'm sure it will grow soon - all I want to do is eat at the moment so it will no doubt fill out!!!!
We went for one of the Britax pushchairs - its pretty sturdy and I love how it looks but im a bit worried it might be too clunky - I guess i'll get used to it though when the time comes! I've only had a quick 5 min play - just trying not to play with it too much at the moment!!0 -

God doing that was a kerfuffle...
Just to show a) not much growth and b) not a perfect ball
But little lowe is perfectly happy and healthy so I don't mind
I just think the people must likely to share pictures of their bumps are those most proud of theirs, not ladies like me who feels theirs has gone a weird shape and 'hillock' would better describe it then bump lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Impressive bumps ladies! I have finally got a little bump, only took me 22 weeks!
Has anyone got their Mat B1 form yet? I won't see my midwife until 26 weeks but my employer wants it by 25 weeks. I've tried ringing the midwives but it goes to answerphone and nobody is calling me back. Think I'll try my GPs tomorrow.
Only 92 days until I finish work! These night shifts are killing me, feels like forever since I did a day shift and saw daylight. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark
Has anyone decided on names yet? We are totally stuck. We had girls names sorted but are finding boys names sooo hard.
Eek, I've just seen the list... How did I get to 3rd on the list?! That is scary!0 -
I am feeling so much better thankfully :j
Part way through having the bathroom fitted and I had a lovely bubbly bath yesterday which was bliss as we have only been able to have showers for the last year. Hopefully it should all be finished by Wednesday
My bump is really pronounced and I love it! Mind you I think the fact this is baby no2 and I was a bit plump probably makes it look larger. A few people have commented that I look much further on than 22 weeks however my midwives have all said I am bang on measurements for my dates.
Still not bought bibs and a nappy wrap which will complete all the baby shopping I need. Since we found out we are expecting a boy my mum has gone into overdrive shopping wise and called to let me know that she has his summer wardrobe all in  It looks as if I won't need to buy a scrap of clothing for him.
My nesting instinct has gone into overdrive and I am keen to have the whole house cleared and spruced up. Poor OH just looks deflated every time I use the phrase I was thinking he just keeps patiently saying lets just focus on one thing at a time :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Hi Faerie - with being 22 weeks I would presume you have had your 20 week scan? I have mine this Friday coming and my midwife said I would get my MatB1 form from the hospital or I can wait till 25 weeks when I see the midwife again. My work is keen to get mine so will be asking for it this week. Fingers crossed you can get through to a midwife in your area. Not sure if the doctor can issue one?
I am slowly counting down to my mat leave....im ready to finish now!! Only a nice 4 day week this week to look forward too and I am on the early shift which always goes faster!
