Hi Ladies,
Hope your weekend it going well. I have my feet up now, there is no way I can do anything else but chill today.
Spent most of yesterday out and about with my mum, not really doing anything but my back was killing me by the end of the day so said my good byes and got home to pop my swollen feet up and a hot water bottle on my back. I have had my referral through for physio and I have an appointment in the morning, I am in so much pain and I cant even walk from the front door to the car without pain now :-( Done some food shopping today and a little cleaning of the house but now its time to chill, just want to cry :-(
Congratulations on team pink lush....how fab!
Well my friend has also pop round over the weekend with a whole bedding set, curtains, changing matt, bath & nappy box for me as she no longer needs them....it was so nice to talk to my friend about pregnancy and baby, she made me write down a few things to get that weren't on my list (nipple cream, thermometer, which car base to get etc) and also found out she has the same pram as what I have ordered and she loves it which is good news! (never seen her with the pram...we either go out for 'grown up' meals or go to each other houses!) :rotfl:
Everyone keeps telling me not to buy clothes. I know I will get loads...but I need to know my baby will have some clothes to live in while people visit and give me clothes! Does anyone else feel like this? I have no idea how many to get for those first few days...plus I know my mum, nan, sister etc are getting 3-6 month clothes as apparently everyone else will get me 0-3....well what happens if everyone gets 3-6 months??!! :rotfl:just panicking a little bit....shall I go out any buy 7 baby grows, vests and a couple of cardigans so I have 'some' clothes before visitors arrive?
Confused dot com!

Yeah we're pretty sure it was the original heating system (70s) and even the plumber couldn't turn it on! We just thought while we were wrecking the place we might as well get that sorted too.
I'm so pleased we've made a decision. Off to the baby show next weekend (yay!) so might still change haha! I loved loved loved the cosatto but the isofix thing put me off too. The bugaboo isn't too heavy compared to others but it is still quite a chunk to chuck in & out of the bootwe have a space in the house it can go so that'll probably be what we do with it.
John Lewis pram shopping is so much fun!!
Not a great start if the guy can't turn it on lol!
Our system is from whenever the house is built I think early 80s but we had a new boiler last year, which was great as the new system has an air cool system for the summer! Not air conditioning but it does help. The guy who did it was from the company who makes the systems.
Yeah I think if we had a space I wouldn't be as concerned but I know I'm going to be lifting & collapsing whatever we get all the time! I'd be happy to get another car seat like a maxi cosi but they don't fit on the cosatto, aaaah!!
At least now you've decided (well until your baby show!) you can just look for the best price. I wonder if the January sales will have anything good.0 -
Omg I think I just felt a flutter!! Obviously I can't be sure but it feels different to anything I've felt yet! X0

Exciting claire!
Is anyone having a baby shower? I probably won't myself unless some kind person organises one without me knowing!0 -
Ah yay Claire! Flutters are so exciting
I'm not sure ill get a deal on the Bugaboo but I'm definitely going to try!
Did you like any other prams?
Jox my friends have mentioned it & I wouldn't mind but I wouldn't want presents, just a get together with my friends & family would be lovelyFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
fingers cross Claire it was a flutter - like butterflies in ur tummy?
Jox - im not having one either, well don't want one, hate being centre of attention though the girls in work keep mentioning it. None of my friends have had one so hopefully I wont either!
Mini rant alert.....DH came in from work 40 minutes ago, told him to pop his uniform in the washing machine as I am about to put it on. Put the washer on and clunk clunk clunk....what on earth is that noise, went to have a look and I only go and see DH mobile getting a good wash! of course it is all my fault as I didn't check his pockets....he walked through the door straight to the washing machine and stripped! I would have thought he would have taken everything out of his pockets.......I would laugh if it was the first time he has done this but this is actually his 3rd time! ohhh dear!!!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
I've been feeling a million times better this weekend, also able to tolerate more fluids which is probably part of the reason I feel better. Yesterday watched football with some friends and then today went a lonnnnng walk with OH and the dog. Came home had a lovely bubble bath and now catching up on the weekends TV
Still not bought a single thing, think will wait til 20 wks scan, I said the same til my 12 week scan... i'm crazy I guess lol.0 -
Glad you are feeling better con x

Hi ladies! Back at work after spending last week at home feeling tired beyond belief, think I must be anaemic which seems to be quite common for this stage of pregnancy. Haven't seen the doctor as I can't be bothered with the endless attempts at drawing blood so got some iron supplements which I'm hoping will do the trick and I'll mention it to the midwife when I see her next week.
I'm 24w today which means I have to move to the Big Girls' thread! Can't believe it, feels like I've been pregnant forever but also feels like time is flying!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Snap! :j Although hubbie is still waiting for January sales and I'm waiting for a house. How sensible of us. :money: I think being team yellow is curbing me from impulse buys. I saw a gorgeous Cosatto travel cot on eBay with only 30mins left!!! If I'd known I was having a boy it would be mine now......I think I'm a little sad about that.I found the local NCT group Facebook page and I've just missed the nearly new sales but the next are in spring, so looking forward to them.
I'm still off sick and now need to get a fit note if I don't go back tomorrow. I don't even know how to get one???? Considering I barely left my bed yesterday I doubt I'm up for a three hour car/train/tube trip and 8 hours at work for four days on the trot tomorrow. I also think I have a gum infection so I've got an emergency dental appointment this afternoon, thank you lowered immune system. Also I'm getting the flu jab tomorrow as I REALLY don't want flu considering how bad this cold/virus has been.
Claire if you feel anything that isn't ligament pain below your belly button on your front half then it's likely to be baby.If you look at drawings of your insides right now, most of your intestines are above and it's only baby in that area. Mine was moving so much last night I actually felt motion sick and tried to sleep propped up!
Congrats at your graduation Birdie, see you there in 3 weeks.
Is everyone else going to the loo about 4am every night, sometimes having a snack too? Also are your nails looking good? What to expect says your hair starts to thicken too but mine couldn't get any thicker anyway.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
