Hi ladies! Can I join you?

We had our 12 weeks scan yesterday (amazing!) and all looked good.

I remember a lot of you from the ttc thread - never thought I'd see the day of being on this thread!

Due date is 26th April 2014. Is there a list I can add myself to?

    xx

Lovely scan pic Becca, did they date you in line with where you were at the dating scan?

We had ours today, by dating scan I am 21 weeks but every measurement they did today was measuring over a week ahead so I'm a little unsure whether that means the date should be adjusted or not.

Kynthia - so sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience, doesn't sound like fun at all :(

    Welcome Elsie

I'm undecided on antenatal classes at the moment, will probably just do the NHS ones (although they haven't been mentioned to me yet) as I'm not that fussed on making new 'mum' friends specifically, there are enough existing couples with young kids!

Pushchair wise, I've gone for the Graco Symbio B, not very expensive and it's very light which was crucial for a wimp like me.

    Me too!

    Congrats becca that's brilliant!

I'm shocked though I thought you were finding out! Now I have to wait just as long as you do to know what you're having, I thought it was being announced this afternoon! :rotfl:

    Evening ladies,

Glad the recent scans have gone well. I am still looking over my pic thinking wow, I have made a little mini DH!

DH bought me an ipad mini over the weekend so have been trying to get my head around apple products! I am slowly getting there and this evening, I manage to facetime my sister.....eventually!!!:rotfl:
She lives in Bristol and I am just outside of Chester so quite a way away! Showed her my bump and nursery and it was lovely to see her.....technology is fab! One of the main reasons I wanted to 'get up to date' with technology was so I can share babies first laugh, steps, roll, crawl etc with my sis!

Also this evening, about 45 mins ago.....I think I felt babies first proper kick! :T at first it felt like abit of wind moving around in my tummy (bit like popping an air bubble kinda feeling!) but then I put my hand to my tummy and bang....kick kick! Such a shame DH is on nights tonight....texted him and he text back saying babies first milestone....awww :D tomorrow night, his hand is on my belly all evening....as so far (like most men) he has felt really left out when I keep saying I can feel baby.

Had my flu jab this morning....in and out in 5 minutes! Also got a referral letter to see a physio regarding my back pain so will phone up tomorrow to book my appointment. I have never had so much time off work (appointments) / used the NHS so much in my life before I became pregnant! Suppose its all good how they look after you.

Great pic Becca. Mine's not quite as clear, I'll try and scan it on tomorrow. So we're both team yellow, how exciting. :j

So team yellow ladies, are your families as frustrated as mine at not knowing? The MIL was/is constantly asking and she now incorrectly suspects that we know but are keeping it secret. Our sisters are impatient. My mum thinks we were wrong not to find out now so that one of us could get over the 'disappointment' before the baby gets here. The men aren't bothered. :)

Jenni_fer they mentioned in passing at my scan that my EDD looks right which is good. Maybe your midwife can interpret the scan results and let you know if they update your EDD? Do you have a TCD measurement as the number is said to be very similar to the foetus age in weeks?

I now have to see the GP at 22 weeks as my antenatal care is shared with the GP. What is the process for the rest of you ladies?
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
