Re prams - Ive been browsing for a while but still havent decided on 'the one' what have you gone for?
I was thinking probably buying it in April or early may (due May 29th May).
I managed to get a 'babasling' sling from ebay for £5 (£35 brand new) it seems really good and there are good reviews so i'm hoping to use that quite a bit. I had one of the clip on front harness thingies for DS and didnt get on with it at all!
Edited to say my last midwife appointment was at christmas and i'm not seeing her again until 7th March!! Any other second/third time mummies feeling a little neglected due to having fewer appointments that the first time?0 -
Chelsea we bought our pram when I was 22 weeks (saw a great offer that I've not seem since) but only had it delivered recently
Have you decided which one?
Cllola I'm a first timer & only seen mw 5 times so far (booking in, 16, 24, 29, 33) & now that's it until 37. Feeling a bit neglected as it says in my notes I should be seeing her every 2 weeks then every week. So I'm with you there! That seems an awful long time xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
We had a little look around at prams, so far the contenders are Maclaren Techno XT (reasonably priced option) or the Bugaboo Bee (blow the budget option). We don't have a car and use public transport all the time, so we could only look at really small, really light options - which is quite restrictive. I'm sold on the Bee but just feel guilty about spending that much! MIL and FIL have given us some money though so we could stretch, although OH is not keen. I don't know when we should be buying the pram either.
I've started getting a few nappies, just bargains as they come up. A friend has given us a cot that we have to find a way of collecting. But otherwise we thought not to buy anything until after the 20 week scan - only 11 days to go :j I'm very excited and nervous. I can't believe we are not even halfway - I just want time to speed up!
Glad you've got a lot more energy today Mrs_TM
Sophiasmum I have been suffering too, visiting the bathroom every 5 minutes in the first trimester and now the opposite. I upped the intake of veggies, beans and pulses, and bran flakes, and have been staying away from stodgy and friend foods. It seems to have worked.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Ive only seen her twice (booking in and 16 weeks) and won't see her until 28 weeks. I guess i should be grateful that it means i'm deemed as low risk but it does seem like a long time!0 -

We have decided on the Bugaboo Bee
My Mum and Dad are paying for it so Im forever grateful
When we first went looking OH picked it out straight away, whereas I was set on the Silvercross Wayfayer
After we had a look at both properly the Bee is much better for us.
Now I cant wait to order it!0 -
we are getting the babystyle oyster, but not quite yet. saving up for it ATM
probably get it in April, unless I see any crazy good offers in the meantime.

This is on my shortlist along with the quinny buzz although the wheels on the quinny put me off as they can get punctures but apparently you can get them filled at a bike store for around £10.0 -
